EGS [Ethylene glycolbis(succinic acid-N-hydroxysuccinimide ester)]
Ethylene glycol-bis(succinic acid N-hydroxysuccinimide ester) has been used as a cross-linking agent.
- The ethylene glycol linkage is cleavable by hydroxylamine
Ethylene glycol-bis(succinic acid N-hydroxysuccinimide ester) is a homobifunctional, cleavable cross-linking reagent. It is mainly coupled to molecules containing primary amines by amide bonds buffered at pH 7.5 (6.5-8.5). The linkage provides a 12-atom spacer.
