Human PBMC
Cellules
Human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) are utilised as source material for isolating lymphocytes (T cells, B cells and NK cells) and monocytes in research and across fields such as immunology, immuno-oncology, and cell and gene therapies.
All PBMCs are isolated through Ficoll density gradient separation from freshly obtained leukapheresis ACD-A packs and directly cryopreserved.
- PBMC-standard includes basic donor information and serological tests
- Additional optional information and tests are available for an extra fee
- Cells are cryopreserved in CryoStor® CS10 media
- Purity is >90% as determined by flow cytometry
Our offerings encompass distinct options tailored to meet diverse research requirements. These options include PBMCs sourced from our existing inventory, which are further categorised into three groups, each offering unique features and application possibilities.
We also provide PBMCs from prospective collections, ensuring flexibility and suitability for various research needs. Storage: For prolonged cell preservation or resuscitation, it is recommended to prepare the cells for extended storage in the vapor phase of liquid nitrogen. Storage of cells in the liquid phase of nitrogen is strongly discouraged to prevent potential cross-contamination risks when removing from storage. Long-term storage under −175 °C and for short-term storage, about one or two weeks at −80 °C is permitted, but it is recommended to minimise this duration to ensure optimal stability. Thawed samples should be used immediately and not stored.
