TRITC (Tetramethylrhodamine isothiocyanate) is a popular rhodamine derivative pink in Colour but emits a red-orange Colour upon Emission at 580 nm. TRITC is frequently paired with FITC in double labeling experiments and conjugated antibodies are often used in immunofluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, FLISA (fluorescent ELISA) and high throughput screening assays. These conjugates are best excited with the 532 nm spectral line of the He-Ne laser and are also recommended as a second Colour detection reagent in in situ hybridization applications. (Excitation/Emission = 555 nm/580 nm Emission Colour = Orange to Red (Similar Dyes: Alexa Fluor 555, Cy3, DyLight 550).

Il a démontré son efficacité en chimie clinique et en toxicologie pour la préparation d'échantillons d'urine, de sang, de plasma et autres matrices biologiques. D'autres applications sont les analyses environnementales et de résidus des eaux usées industrielles ou domestiques. Extrelut® NT est livré en cartouches pré-remplies ou sous forme d'adsorbant en vrac. Ses propriétés de surface permettent une action comme support pour l'extraction liquide-liquide de substances lipophiles au lieu d'utiliser une ampoule à décanter. Lorsqu'un échantillon aqueux est appliqué sur l'adsorbant Extrelut® NT, il se répartit en un film fin sur la surface et agit comme une phase stationnaire. L'élution des analytes s'obtient en utilisant un solvant organique non miscible avec l'eau, comme l'éther diéthylique, de l'acétate d'éthyle ou des hydrocarbures halogénés.

Immunoglobulins have similar structures of two identical heavy chains and two identical light chains. Both the heavy chains and the light chains are divided into constant and variable regions. The constant regions have the same amino acid sequences between all the immunoglobulin classes. The variable regions have approximately 110 amino acids with high sequence variability. The amino acid sequence of the heavy chain determines the class of an immunoglobulin. The five types of immunoglobulin heavy chains are known as: IgG, IgA, IgM, IgD, and IgE. IgG is divided into four subclasses, and IgA is divided into two subclasses. In serum IgA and IgG are monomers with a single 4 polypeptide unit; while, IgM is a pen tamer. IgA may also form polymers. Kappa light chain antibody can be used for the identification of leukemias, plasmacytomas and certain non Hodgkin's lymphomas. Kappa light chain contains one immunoglobulin like domain. The EU sequence has the INV allotypic marker, Ala 45 and Val 83. The ROY sequence has the INV allotypic marker, Ala 45 and Leu 83.
