Description:
Mouse Betacellulin is a single type I membrane protein which belongs to the EGF family of cytokines. EGF family has many members including EGF, TGF-a, Amphiregulin, HB-EGF, Epiregulin, Tomoregulin and the Neuregulins. Betacellulin is characterised by a six-cysteine consensus motif that forms three intra-molecular disulfide bonds crucial for binding the ErbB receptor family. Betacellulin is expressed in several tissues and tumor cells including kidney, uterus, liver, pancreas and small intestine. Betacellulin binds and activates ErbB-1 and ErbB-4 homodimers. Betacellulin is thought to play a role in the differentiation of pancreatic beta cells.Human and mouse mature BTC protein are 80% identical at the amino acid sequence level. Betacellulin is involved in many biological processes such as stimulating gastrointestinal growth. It is proteolytically processed from a larger membrane-anchored precursor and is a potent mitogen for a wide variety of cell types.

The OKT4 monoclonal antibody specifically binds to the CD4 receptor for the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). CD4 is a 59 kDa single-chain transmembrane glycoprotein that expressed on the surface of most of the thymocytes, T-helper cells, and in low levels on monocytes and macrophages. CD4 is a co-receptor in the antigen-induced T cell activation (together with the MHC class II). The OKT4 and the RPA-T4 monoclonal antibodies recognize different epitopes of CD4 and they do not exhibit cross-block binding.BG Violet 450 conjugate is an alternative to the Pacific Blue, eFluor 450, or BD Horizon V450 dyes. RPA Interacting Protein Antibody: Replication protein A (RPA) is a single-stranded-DNA binding protein involved in numerous eukaryotic DNA processes including replication, repair and recombination. RPA interacting protein (RPA IP) has been identified as an adapter protein that is involved in RPA nuclear import instead of the prototypical importin proteins that normally mediate nuclear import. Multiple isoforms of RPA IP are known to exist, with the longest isoform localized to the cytoplasm. Isoform 2 is sumoylated and is located in the PML nuclear body within the nucleus. It has been suggested that this isoform mediates the localization of the RPA complex into the PML nuclear body, thereby participating in RPA function in DNA metabolism.
