Description:
Foxh1 is a transcriptional activator. Foxh1 can recognizes and binds to the DNA sequence 5'-TGT[GT][GT]ATT-3' and is required for induction of the goosecoid (GSC) promoter by TGF-beta or activin signaling. Foxh1 forms a transcriptionally active complex containing FAST-1/SMAD2/SMAD4 on a site on the GSC promoter called TARE (TGF-beta/activin response element).

Description:
CASK Antibody: CASK (Calcium/calmodulin-dependent serine protein kinase), a conserved multi-domain scaffolding protein, belongs to a MAGUK (membrane-associated guanylate kinase homologs) subfamily and is involved in cell junction organization, tumor suppression and signaling. It is characterized by a novel domain structure that consists of a calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase domain followed by PDZ, SH3 and guanylate kinase-like (GUK) domains. CASK is ubiquitously expressed and significantly greater in brain where it is thought to be involved in signaling at neuronal synapses. CASK interacts with CASKINs and defects in CASK are the cause of mental retardation X-linked CASK-related.

Description:
Precerebellin Antibody: Precerebellin is the precursor of the brain-specific hexadecapeptide cerebellin, a protein with substantial similarity to the globular region of the B chain of complement component C1q. Cerebellin exerts neuromodulatory functions by directly stimulating norepinephrine release via the adenylate cyclase/pka- dependent signaling pathway; and indirectly enhances adrenocortical secretion in vivo, through a paracrine mechanism involving medullary catecholamine release. The active form of precerebellin is highly enriched in postsynaptic structures of cerebellar Purkinje cells in cartwheel neurons of the dorsal cochlear nucleus. Because precerebellin belongs to the C1q/tumor necrosis factor superfamily of secreted proteins and has similarity to adiponectin and CTRP3, it has been suggested that precerebellin posseses functions other than those already stated.

Description:
CTRP6 Antibody: Adipose tissue of an organism plays a major role in regulating physiologic and pathologic processes such as metabolism and immunity by producing and secreting a variety of bioactive molecules termed adipokines. One highly conserved family of adipokines is adiponectin/ACRP30 and its structural and functional paralogs, the C1q/tumor necrosis factor-alpha-related proteins (CTRPs) 1-7. Unlike adiponectin, which is expressed exclusively by differentiated adipocytes, the CTRPs are expressed in a wide variety of tissues. These proteins are thought to act mainly on liver and muscle tissue to control glucose and lipid metabolism. An analysis of the crystal structure of adiponectin revealed a structural and evolutionary link between TNF and C1q-containing proteins, suggesting that these proteins arose from a common ancestral innate immunity gene. CTRP6 contains at least 4 glycosylation motifs, suggesting that CTRP6 may be highly post-translationally modified.

Description:
IRAK2 Antibody: The pro-inflammatory cytokine IL-1 induces cellular response through two subunits of its receptor, IL-1 receptor I (IL-1RI) and IL-1 receptor accessory protein (IL-1RAcP). IL-1 receptor-associated kinase (IRAK) mediates activation of NF-kappa B, which is a pivotal transcription factor mediating inflammatory and immune response. A novel member in the IRAK/Pelle family has been identified and designated IRAK2. Both IRAK and IRAK2 recruit to the subunits of the IL-1R complex after IL-1 binding and lead to NF-kappa B activation. IRAKs also associate with Toll like receptor (TLR) and the dominant negative mutants of IRAKs inhibit LPS-induced NF-kB activation. Members in IRAK/Pelle family play a central role in IL-1R and TLR mediated inflammatory response. Unlike human IRAK2, murine IRAK2 exists as four alternately spliced isoforms (IRAK2a-d), with two isoforms (IRAK2c and d) acting in an inhibitory fashion. IRAK2 is expressed in a variety of tissues.

Multiple isoforms of mouse CTRP4 have been reported.

Description:
RUNX1T1 is a putative zinc finger transcription factor and oncoprotein. In acute myeloid leukemia, especially in the M2 subtype, the t (8;21) (q22;q22) translocation is one of the most frequent karyotypic abnormalities. The translocation produces a chimeric gene made up of the 5'-region of the RUNX1 gene fused to the 3'-region of this gene. The chimeric protein is thought to associate with the nuclear corepressor/histone deacetylase complex to block hematopoietic differentiation.

ETV5 Contains 1 ETS DNA-binding domain and belongs to the ETS family. The ETV5 gene expression is regulated by the conventional PKC (cPKC) pathway.ETV5 is subject to SUMO modification and this post-translational modification causes inhibition of transcription-enhancing activity Phosphorylated ETV5 and the actin cytoskeleton regulate CD44-mediated hyaluronan binding in myeloid cells. ERMs (ezrin/radixin/moesin) function as adaptor molecules in the interactions of adhesion receptors and intracellular tyrosine kinases. ETV5 can cooperate with c-Jun and has a role in progression of breast cancer.
