The laboratory is the place where the future is created. Nothing is more valuable than qualified, motivated and committed employees. Their well-being and health are a key priority. The responsibility for a laboratory is also a responsibility for people.
At the same time, laboratory work also involves special challenges in terms of ergonomics and hygiene. In order to design a laboratory workplace that promotes health, also valuing and supporting specific activities, it is important to have the right laboratory chair.
Using a good laboratory chair, Kathrin Stotz explains and illustrates what is important when sitting in a laboratory. How forced postures - e.g. when pipetting - can be avoided. What is understood with regards to the term 'laboratory ergonomics'. What the impact is of comfort and design on motivation when working in a lab. How a chair must be developed when it comes to reliably avoiding contamination. These are just some of the topics of this 'hands on' live presentation.
