Detergent solutions, Surfact-Amps™
Protéines extraction
Réactifs pour l'extraction des protéines
Surfact-Amps™ detergents are ready-to-use, diluted solutions of purified detergent that can be used in routine and high-demand protein research methods and molecular biology techniques. These detergents are useful as a component of cell lysis buffers or other solutions intended to extract and solubilise proteins, improve chromatography, prepare yeast spheroplasts, and reduce background in ELISA or Western blot methods.
- Clear and pure 10% detergent solutions with <1.0 μeq/ml peroxides and carbonyl content
- Ampoules are packed under nitrogen for maximum shelf life and are pre-scored for easy opening
- Easy to pipette and accurately dispense
- Packaging eliminates the accumulation of peroxides and degradation products
Detergents are a class of molecules whose unique properties enable manipulation (disruption or formation) of hydrophobichydrophilic interactions among molecules in biological samples. In biological research, detergents are used to lyse cells (release soluble proteins), solubilise membrane proteins and lipids, control protein crystallisation and prevent non specific binding in affinity purification and immunoassay procedures. They are often used as an additive in protein gel electrophoresis.
