Description:
Stimulating T cells with SARS-CoV-2 (Spike Protein) Omicron BA.4/BA.5 Peptide pool releases downstream cytokines and upregulates activation markers, enabling antigen-specific T cells to be detected or isolated for analysis. This pool is provided as two lyophilised mixtures (subpools) from the spike glycoprotein of SARS-CoV-2 Omicron BA.4/BA.5 subvariant. The subpools contain 158 and 157 peptides, respectively, for a total of 315 peptides, and they consist of 15-mer peptides with 11-amino-acid overlaps that cover amino acids 1 to 1270 on the spike protein. Through interactions with the angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptor, the spike protein enables the virus to attach to the cell membrane, and plays a critical role in viral entry (Hoffmann <i>et al.</i>; Walls <i>et al.</i>). Viral peptide pools are useful for a broad range of applications, including vaccine development, immunological research, and diagnostic assay development.

Stimulating T cells with HPV16 (E6) Peptide Pool releases downstream cytokines and upregulates activation markers, enabling antigen-specific T cells to be detected or isolated for analysis. HPV16 (E6) Peptide Pool is a lyophilised mixture of 37 peptides from the E6 protein of human papillomavirus type 16 (HPV16). The pool consists of 15-mer peptides with 11-amino-acid overlaps that cover amino acids 1 to 158 on protein E6. E6 binds to the tumor suppressor protein p53 and stimulates its degradation (Scheffner <i>et al.</i>; Werness <i>et al.</i> ), which is thought to cause an increase in spontaneous mutagenesis in host cells (Havre <i>et al.</i>). E6 together with E7 demonstrated the ability to immortalize human keratinocytes in vitro, which likely has significance for HPVs oncogenic potential (Hawley-Nelson <i>et al.</i>). Viral peptide pools are useful for a broad range of applications, including vaccine development, immunological research, and diagnostic assay development.

The 1D3 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with mouse CD19, a 95 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein, a member of the Ig superfamily and a B cell-lineage differentiation antigen expressed by all the B lymphocyte development stages, except for the terminally differentiated plasma cells. CD19 associates with CD21, CD81 and MHC class II to form a multi-molecular complex that initiates the mature B lymphocyte activation by interaction with the B-cell receptors. CD 19 enhances the B cell proliferation, development and activation, and the maturation of memory B cells. In CD19-deficient mice, the generation and maturation of B lymphocytes in the bone marrow and periphery are affected.

Paired box (PAX) gene family whose protein products are transcription factors involved in development. The conserved paired box DNA-binding domain is found in the N-terminal region of Pax proteins. An octomer and homeodomain sequence are conserved in the center of the proteins. The Ser/Thr/ Pro-rich region in the C-terminal portion contains a conserved 100 amino acid transactivating domain. Pax-5 influences the expression of several B-cell-specific genes, such as CD 19 and CD 20. It is expressed primarily in pro-, pre-, and mature B cells, but not in plasma cells. Its mRNA is transiently detected in the mesencephalon and spinal cord during embryogenesis. Expression then shifts to the fetal liver and correlates with the onset of B lymphopoiesis. It has been found to be important in both B cell and nervous system development.
