Description:
TPX2 is essential for spindle pole and mitotic spindle formulation, playing a role in the S and G2 phases of mitosis. It is also critical for the function of protein kinase Aurora A. TPX2 autophosphorylates Aurora A, targeting it to the spindle apparatus and allowing it to function in eukaryotic meiotic and mitotic cell cycles. TPX2 has also been found to be highly expressed in cancer cells.

Description:
E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that specifically mediates the formation of 'Lys-6'-linked polyubiquitin chains and plays a central role in DNA repair by facilitating cellular responses to DNA damage. It is unclear whether it also mediates the formation of other types of polyubiquitin chains. The E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase activity is required for its tumor suppressor function. The BRCA1-BARD1 heterodimer coordinates a diverse range of cellular pathways such as DNA damage repair, ubiquitination and transcriptional regulation to maintain genomic stability. Regulates centrosomal microtubule nucleation. Required for normal cell cycle progression from G2 to mitosis. Required for appropriate cell cycle arrests after ionizing irradiation in both the S-phase and the G2 phase of the cell cycle. Involved in transcriptional regulation of P21 in response to DNA damage. Required for FANCD2 targeting to sites of DNA damage. May function as a transcriptional regulator. Inhibits lipid synthesis by binding to inactive phosphorylated ACACA and preventing its dephosphorylation. Contributes to homologous recombination repair (HRR) via its direct interaction with PALB2, fine-tunes recombinational repair partly through its modulatory role in the PALB2-dependent loading of BRCA2-RAD51 repair machinery at DNA breaks. Component of the BRCA1-RBBP8 complex which regulates CHEK1 activation and controls cell cycle G2/M checkpoints on DNA damage via BRCA1-mediated ubiquitination of RBBP8.

Description:
Really versatile general purpose polar phase for a wide range of applications. Ideal in confirmation analysis. HI-17 MS is an MS grade low bleeding cross-bonded column that ensures a long lifetime even under high temperature limits.

Description:
Suplex pKb-100 columns feature the same bonded phase functionality as SUPELCOSIL LC-ABZ columns. These specially deactivated columns differ in that Suplex pKb-100 is not endcapped, while SUPELCOSIL LC-ABZ is endcapped. The absence of the end-capping reagent results in better performance from Suplex pKb-100 for the strongest basic compounds, while LC-ABZ is preferred when the sample also contains acids and/or zwitterions.

Description:
NAD-dependent protein deacetylase. Has deacetylase activity towards histone H3K9Ac and H3K56Ac. Modulates acetylation of histone H3 in telomeric chromatin during the S-phase of the cell cycle. Deacetylates histone H3K9Ac at NF-kappa-B target promoters and may down-regulate the expression of a subset of NF-kappa-B target genes. Acts as a corepressor of the transcription factor HIF1A to control the expression of multiple glycolytic genes to regulate glucose homeostasis. Required for genomic stability. Regulates the production of TNF protein. Has a role in the regulation of life span (By similarity). Deacetylation of nucleosomes interferes with RELA binding to target DNA. May be required for the association of WRN with telomeres during S-phase and for normal telomere maintenance. Required for genomic stability. Required for normal IGF1 serum levels and normal glucose homeostasis. Modulates cellular senescence and apoptosis. On DNA damage, promotes DNA end resection via deacetylation of RBBP8. Has very weak deacetylase activity and can bind NAD(+) in the absence of acetylated substrate.
