NogoA Antibody: NogoA is a member of a family of integral membrane proteins termed reticulons that are thought to be involved in numerous disorders including neurodegenerative diseases. Reticulon proteins are known to regulate many cellular processes and interact with multiple proteins and receptors such as BACE. NogoA was initially identified as a myelin-associated neurite outgrowth inhibitor. It is highly expressed in oligodendrocytes in the white matter of the CNS; blocking its activity with antibodies or other factors results in improved axon regrowth and functional recovery in experimental CNS lesion models. NogoA has also been suggested to play a role in neurodegenerative diseases such as Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, in which case NogoA is found at elevated levels in postmortem muscular samples, and multiple sclerosis (MS), in which case autoantibodies to NogoA have been found in serum and cerebrospinal fluid in MS patients.

The 1A8 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with the 21 to 25 kDa glycophosphatidylinositol-anchored protein known as Ly-6G, expressed by the granulocytes from the bone marrow and periphery neutrophils. Ly-6G and Ly-6C form the Granulocyte Receptor-1 antigen (GR-1). The binding of the 1A8 antibody to the Ly-6G can be blocked by another antibody, RB6-8C5, which also recognizes Ly-6C. While 1A8 is specific for only Ly-6G, RB6-8C5 also binds to Ly-6C.

It is essential to the functions of cell adhesion during inflammatory reactions and in the interaction of platelets with monocytes and neutrophils. The 145-2C11 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD3e, the 20 kDa epsilon chain of the TCR complex. Together with the gamma and delta subunits of CD3, the epsilon subunits are involved in the assembly, trafficking, and surface expression of T-cell receptor complex. CD3 is expressed on thymocytes, mature T cells, and natural killer T cells, and the epsilon chain enhances the antigen recognition.The 145-2C11 antibody binds to the TCR complex and, depending on the conditions, initiates T cells activation, proliferation, and apoptosis. The soluble antibody seems to block lysis of target cells by antigen-specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes. OCIAD1 Antibody: OCIAD1 was identified via immunoscreening of an ovarian carcinoma cDNA library from ovarian cancer patients and is expressed in multiple tissues including ovary, placenta, brain, testis, prostate, and mammary gland. Two isoforms of OCIAD1 are known to exist; the shorter isoform is restricted to the central nervous system. OCIAD1 is a transmembrane protein whose overexpression in HEY ovarian cancer cells increased lysophosphatidic acid- (LPA-)induced, but not basal level cell adhesion to extracellular matrix proteins collagen I and laminin10/11. This adhesion is not blocked by LY294002 and GF109203X, suggesting that OCIAD1 does not use protein kinase C and PI3 kinase signaling pathways to exert its effect on adhesion.

The GL-1 monoclonal antibody reacts specifically with the mouse B7-2 (also known as CD86), a costimulatory molecule expressed by B and T lymphocytes, macrophages (thioglycollate-induced from peritoneum), astrocytes and dendritic cells. The memory CD4+ T lymphocytes express CD86 (as mRNA and protein). CD86, and the B7-1 (CD 80) molecule, are ligands for CD152 and CD28, and influence the costimulatory interactions between lymphocytes B and T. B7-2 is also involved in the mouse natural killer cell-mediated cytotoxicity. The GL-1 antibody blocks the mixed lymphocyte reaction (MLR) and inhibits the T-cells stimulation by antigen-presenting cells. Mixtures of anti-B7-1 antibody and GL-1 were reported to inhibit the interaction between CD125 and its ligand with the in vivo priming of cytotoxic T lymphocytes.
