ADRM1 is a 407 amino acid protein that localizes to both the nucleus and the cytoplasm and is thought to be involved in protein recruitment and cell adhesion. An integral membrane protein, ADRM1 functions to recruit UCH-L5, a deubiquitinating enzyme, to the 26S proteasome, and once at the proteasome it promotes the activity of UCH-L5. Additionally, ADRM1 is thought to mediate lymphocyte adhesion in endothelial cells and may thus play a role in lymphocyte homing. ADRM1 expression is induced by IFN-g in some cancer cell lines and its expression is upregulated in other metastatic cells, suggesting a role in carcinogenesis. Two isoforms of ADRM1 exist due to alternative splicing events.

D53, also referred to as tumor protein D52-like 1 (TPD52L1), is a coiled-coil motif-bearing member of the D52 tumor protein family. D53 intereacts with 14-3-3, a negative regulator of the G2/M transition, in breast cancer cells. Expression of D53 is highly upregulated at the G2/M phase transition in breast cancer cell lines, and deregulated expression of this protein can adversely affect the completion of mitosis. D53 may function as a signaling intermediate and/or regulator of vesicle trafficking and cell proliferation.

The isoform alpha-1D gives rise to L-type calcium currents. Long-lasting (L-type) calcium channels belong to the 'high-voltage activated' (HVA) group. Recognizes a protein of 110 kDa, identified as CD106 (also known as vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1) and INCAM-100). CD106 is a member of the Ig superfamily of adhesion molecules and is expressed at high levels on cytokine stimulated vascular endothelial cells, and at minimal levels on un-stimulated endothelial cells. It is also present on follicular and inter-follicular dendritic cells of lymph nodes, myoblasts, and some macrophages. CD106 serves as a ligand for leukocyte integrin (VLA-4 or CD49d/CD29) and mediates cell adhesion of leukocytes to activated endothelium. It plays a role in various immunological and inflammatory responses. This MAb inhibits the binding of leukocytes to VCAM-1 on stimulated endothelial cells.
