These Ni(2+) chelate-coated plates are ideal for analysing polyhistidine-tagged fusion proteins by ELISA-based methods. Proteins that contain a succession of several histidine residues at the amino or carboxyl terminus have a strong binding affinity for metal. Bacterial lysates containing polyhistidine-tagged fusion proteins can be added directly to the plates without the need for blocking. The clear, white or black plates can be used with colorimetric, chemiluminescent or fluorescent detection methods, respectively.

Description:
Recognises a 53 kDa protein, which is identified as p53 suppressor gene product. It reacts with the mutant as well as the wild form of p53 under denaturing and non-denaturing conditions. p53 is a tumor suppressor gene expressed in a wide variety of tissue types and is involved in regulating cell growth, replication, and apoptosis. It binds to MDM2, SV40 T antigen and human papilloma virus E6 protein. Positive nuclear staining with p53 antibody has been reported to be a negative prognostic factor in breast carcinoma, lung carcinoma, colorectal, and urothelial carcinoma. Anti-p53 positivity has also been used to differentiate uterine serous carcinoma from endometrioid carcinoma as well as to detect intratubular germ cell neoplasia. Mutations involving p53 are found in a wide variety of malignant tumors, including breast, ovarian, bladder, colon, lung, and melanoma.

The granulocyte marker antibody shows no reactivity with any other cell type in human tissues. Markers of myeloid cells are useful in the identification of different levels of cellular differentiation. Clone BM-2 mAb reacts with early precursor and mature forms of human myeloid cells. It is useful for the detection of myeloid leukemias and granulocytic sarcomas.

Carbonic Anhydrase-Related Protein 10 (CA10) belongs to the Carbonic Anhydrase family of Zinc Metalloenzymes. It is an acatalytic member of the alpha-carbonic anhydrase subgroup. CA10 expression is detected in the adult total brain and almost all parts of the central nervous system, but not in the fetal brain. CA10 catalyse the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide in various biological processes, which is fundamental to many processes such as respiration, renal tubular acidification and bone resorption. Grancalcin (GCA) is a member of the penta EF hand subfamily which includes sorcin, calpain and ALG2. Grancalcin is highly expressed bone marrow and also can detected in neutrophils and macrophages. Grancalcin interacts with L-plastin which known to have actin bundling activity. It indicates that Grancalcin may play an important role in the adhesion of neutrophils to fibronectin. Furthermore, Grancalcin localization is dependent upon calcium and magnesium. It associates with both the granule and membrane fractions, which suggested a role for grancalcin in granule-membrane fusion and degranulation.

Stimulating T cells with HHV6 (U90) Peptide pool releases downstream cytokines and upregulates activation markers, enabling antigen-specific T cells to be detected or isolated for analysis. HHV6 (U90) Peptide pool is a lyophilised mixture of 267 peptides from protein U90 of human herpesvirus 6B (HHV-6B; strain Z29) and consists of 15-mer peptides with 11-amino-acid overlaps that cover amino acids 1 to 1078 on U90. U89 - U90 RNA expression occurs under immediate-early conditions of infection (Mirandola <i>et al.</i>), and the associated protein exhibits peri-nuclear and cytoplasmic localization (Nikolaou <i>et al.</i>). Also known as immediate-early protein IE1, latency-associated transcripts of HHV6 may function as a source of IE1 during viral reactivation (Kondo <i>et al.</i>). Viral peptide pools are useful for a broad range of applications, including vaccine development, immunological research, and diagnostic assay development.
