Barbara has over 30 years of industrial microbiology experience and is currently working in regulatory marketing at Merck Life Science KGaA. She is an active member in several national and international bodies addressing microbiological topics in ISO, CEN and IFU, including the ISO Working Groups ‘QC of membrane filters’, ‘Method validation’, ‘Culture media’ and ‘Sulfite reducing clostridia and C. perfringens’.

Dr. Andreas Bubert

Dr. Andreas Bubert – Senior Global Product Manager Culture Media, Merck Life Science KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany 

Andreas received a PhD in molecular microbiology for his research and diagnostics work on Listeria. He has over 25 years’ experience at Merck Life Science KGaA, focusing on microbiological solutions for the food and beverage industries. He is a member of AOAC RI Advisory Council and has authored over 50 publications.
