Stimulating T cells with Clostridium (Tetanus Toxin) Peptide pool releases downstream cytokines and upregulates activation markers, enabling antigen-specific T cells to be detected or isolated for analysis. Clostridium Peptide pool is a lyophilised mixture of 326 peptides from tetanus toxin of Clostridium tetani (strain Massachusetts/E88), and consists of 15-mer peptides with 11-amino-acid overlaps that cover amino acids 1 to 1315 on tetanus toxin. Tetanus toxin entry into central neurons is mediated by the synaptic vesicle-binding protein SV2 (Yeh <i>et al.</i>), where it selectively cleaves synaptobrevin (Link <i>et al.</i>; Schiavo <i>et al.</i>). Viral peptide pools are useful for a broad range of applications, including vaccine development, immunological research, and diagnostic assay development.

T-Cell Surface Glycoprotein CD3 epsilon Chain (CD3 epsilon ) is a single-pass type I membrane protein. CD3 epsilon contains 1 Ig-like (immunoglobulin-like) domain and 1 ITAM domain. CD3 epsilon is a polypeptide encoded by the CD3E gene on chromosome 11 in humans. The T cell receptor-CD3 complex (TCR/CD3 complex) is involved in T-cell development and several intracellular signal-transduction pathways. This complex is critical for T-cell development and function, and represents one of the most complex transmembrane receptors. The T cell receptor-CD3 complex is unique in having ten cytoplasmic immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motifs (ITAMs). TCR/CD3 complex plays an important role in coupling antigen recognition to several intracellular signal-transduction pathways.

CRISP2 Antibody: The cysteine-rich secretory proteins (CRISP) family is a group of four proteins that are strongly expressed in the male reproductive tract and have been implicated in having roles in male fertility. CRISP2, also known as TPX1, has been implicated in the adhesion between spermatids and Sertoli cells, and with CRISP1, is thought to be involved in sperm-egg fusion. CRISP2 has been shown to regulate the Ca2+ influx through ryanodine receptors (RYR) and may influence the acrosome reaction or sperm motility. CRISP2 has also been shown to bind to the mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 11 (MAP3K11) and localizes to the developing acrosome, suggesting this CRISP2-MAP3K11 complex may have a role in acrosome development.

Blimp-1 Antibody: Blimp-1 was initially identified as a zinc finger-containing protein that drives the maturation of B lymphocytes into immunoglobulin-secreting cells. Together with X-box-binding protein 1 (XBP1), Blimp-1 is induced upon terminal differentiation of plasma cells. The transcriptional repressor activity of Blimp-1 has also been found to regulate T cell homeostasis and function, possibly by suppressing the expression of the cytokines IL-2 and interferon-gamma during T cell development. More recent experiments have suggested that Blimp-1 also plays a major role in the formation of primordial germ cells (PGC) in developing mammalian embryos. In these experiments, Blimp-1-deficient mutant mouse embryos form a cluster of PGC-like cells which fail to show the expected migration, proliferation, and repression of homeobox genes that normally accompany specification of primordial germ cells. Blimp-1 exists as at least two different isoforms.

FGF4 Antibody: Fibroblast growth factor 4 (FGF4) is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family that possess broad mitogenic and cell survival activities and play key roles in growth and survival of stem cells during embryogenesis, tissue regeneration, and carcinogenesis. FGF4 was identified by its strong oncogenic transforming activity and is a potent angiogenic factor, expressed in several highly vascularized tumors and also in adult mouse testis, intestine, and brain. Studies on the mouse homolog suggests a function in bone morphogenesis and limb development through the sonic hedgehog (SHH) signaling pathway. Furthermore, FGF4 regulates neural progenitor cell proliferation and neuronal differentiation. Recent studies show a growth-promoting role for FGF4 in human embryonic stem cells and a putative feedback inhibition mechanism by a novel FGF4 splice isoform that may serve to promote differentiation at a later stages of development.
