ATP5F1 is a subunit of mitochondrial ATP synthase. Mitochondrial ATP synthase catalyzes ATP synthesis, utilizing an electrochemical gradient of protons across the inner membrane during oxidative phosphorylation. ATP synthase is composed of two linked multi-subunit complexes: the soluble catalytic core, F1, and the membrane-spanning component, Fo, comprising the proton channel. The catalytic portion of mitochondrial ATP synthase consists of 5 different subunits (alpha, beta, gamma, delta, and epsilon) assembled with a stoichiometry of 3 alpha, 3 beta, and a single representative of the other 3. Recognises a single glycoprotein of 520 kDa, identified as mucin 2 (MUC2). This mAb shows no cross-reaction with human milk fat globule membranes, MUC1, or MUC3. Mucins are high molecular weight glycoproteins, which constitute the major component of the mucus layer that protects the gastric epithelium. MUC2 is specifically expressed in goblet cells of the small intestine & colon; in about 65% of colonic carcinomas and about 40% of gastric carcinomas. MUC2 is rarely expressed outside of the GI tract with the exceptions of mucinous carcinoma of breast and clear cell-type carcinomas of the ovary.

Uroplakin-2 is a single-pass type I membrane protein that belongs to the uroplakin-2 family. Uroplakin-2 is a component of the asymmetric unit membrane (AUM) and expressed in the ureter, a highly specialized biomembrane elaborated by terminally differentiated urothelial cells. Uroplakin-2 forms heterodimer with UPK1A that is necessary for exiting out of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). Uroplakin-2 may play an important role in regulating the assembly of the AUM. AUM is believed to strengthen the urothelium by preventing cell rupture during bladder distention.

Junctional Adhesion Molecule A (JAM-A) is a single-pass type I membrane protein that belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. JAM-A contains 2 Ig-like V-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains and Interacts with the ninth PDZ domain. JAM-A is localized to the tight junctions of both epithelial and endothelial cells. JAM-A seems to be involved in epithelial tight junction formation. JAM-A appears early in primordial forms of cell junctions and recruits PARD3. The association of the PARD6-PARD3 complex may prevent the interaction of PARD3 with JAM-A, thereby preventing tight junction assembly. JAM-A plays a role in regulating monocyte transmigration involved in regulating integrity of the epithelial barrier. In the case of orthoreovirus infection, JAM-A serves as receptor for the virus.

Amphoterin-Induced Protein 2 (AMIGO2) is a single-pass type I membrane protein which belongs to the AMIGO family of immunoglobulin superfamily. Mature AMIGO2 contains an Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domain, 6 LRR (leucine-rich) repeats, a LRRCT domain, as well as a LRRNT domain. AMIGO2 is mainly expressed in in breast, ovary, cervix, and uterus, although lower in lung, colon, and rectum. ZBTB40 Antibody: The ZBTB family of proteins is comprised of diverse zinc finger proteins that also contain a BTB (BR-C, ttk and bab) domain. While little is known about ZBTB40, other ZBTB proteins, such as ZBTB4 bind methylated DNA and repress transcription. The tetrameric receptor complex for IFN gamma consists of two subunits, IFNGR1 (IFN gamma R alpha) and IFNGR2 (IFN gamma R beta ), through which the dimeric IFN- gamma exerts its biological functions, including antiviral, antiproliferation and immune-modulatory activity in mammals. Both IFNGR1 and IFNGR2 are single transmembrane proteins belonging to the class II cytokine family. FNGR1, widely expressed in most host cells, is essential for IFN gamma binding, receptor trafficking, and signal transduction. IFNGR1 possesses an intracellular Janus tyrosine kinase (JAK) 1 binding site, a signal transducer and activator of transcription 1 (STAT1) binding site. The resulting STAT1 homodimers translocate from the cytoplasm to the nucleus and bind to the interferon-gamma activated sequence (GAS) promoter to induce expression of downstream interferon stimulated genes (ISGs).

The olfactory receptor proteins are members of a large family of G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCR) arising from single coding-exon genes.
