Description:
Tau proteins are proteins which contain four Tau/MAP repeats. They promote microtubule assembly and stability, and might be involved in the establishment and maintenance of neuronal polarity. They are abundant in neurons of the central nervous system and are less common elsewhere, but are also expressed at very low levels in CNS astrocytes and oligodendrocytes. The tau proteins are the product of alternative splicing from a single gene that in humans is designated MAPT. When tau proteins are defective, and no longer stabilize microtubules properly, they can result in several neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, Pick's disease, frontotemporal dementia, cortico-basal degeneration and progressive supranuclear palsy.

Description:
Tumour necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 27, also known as XEDAR and EDA2R, is a type III transmembrane protein of the TNFR (tumour necrosis factor receptor) superfamily, and contains 3 cysteine-rich repeats and a single transmembrane domain but lacks an N-terminal signal peptide. EDA2R, as well as its paralog, EDAR, binds the ectodysplasin ligands EDA-A2 and EDA-A1, which are two alternatively spliced forms of the EDA gene. Mutations in the EDA gene are associated with the X-linked form of Hypo hidrotic Ectodermal Dysplasia (HED), a disease typically characterized by abnormal hair, teeth and sweat glands.

CD160 antigen is a Lipid-anchor that exists as a disulfide-linked homomultimer. CD160 contains one Ig-like V-type domain. The human CD160 precursor is a cysteine-rich, glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored protein of 181 amino acids with a single Ig-like domain. It is weakly homologous to KIR2DL4. CD160 is expressed in the spleen, peripheral blood, and small intestine. Its expression is tightly associated with peripheral blood NK cells and CD8 T lymphocytes with cytolytic effector activity. CD160 is a receptor showing broad specificity for both classical and non-classical MHC class I molecules.

CD320 antigen is also known as 8D6 antigen，FDC-signaling molecule 8D6，Transcobalamin receptor and 8D6A. It is a single-pass type I membrane protein and containing two LDL-receptor class A domains. CD320 has been recently discovered and reported as a follicular dendritic cell (FDC) protein. CD320 can augments the proliferation of plasma cells precursors generated by IL-10. CD320 also founctions a receptor for the cellular uptake of transcobalamin bound cobalamin. Defects in CD320 are the cause of methylmalonic aciduria type TCblR (MMATC) which is a metabolic disorder.

Growth hormone receptor is a transmembrane receptor for growth hormone (GH). GH is a single-chain polypeptide that is mainly synthesised and released from the anterior pituitary gland and plays essential roles in growth, development and metabolism. GH exerts its physiological actions via GH binding to its receptor in its extracellular domain. Binding of growth hormone to the receptor leads to receptor dimerisation and the activation of an intra- and intercellular signal transduction pathway leading to growth. Growth hormone receptor has been shown to interact with SGTA, PTPN11, Janus kinase 2, Suppressor of cytokine signaling 1 and CISH.
