Description:
Protocadherin-1, also known as Cadherin-like protein 1, Protocadherin-42 and PCDH1, belongs to the protocadherin subfamily within the cadherin superfamily. PCDH1 contains seven cadherin-like domains, a transmembrane region and a C-terminal cytoplasmic region. PCDH1 can be detected as early as embryonic day 9.5. In early embryogenesis, expression is especially prominent in blood vessels. The tight spatial and temporal regulation of Pcdh1 expression suggests that this protocadherin plays multiple roles not only during development but also in mature tissues and organs. In addition, protocadherin-1 is involved in cell-cell interaction processes and in neural cell adhesion.

UROP11 Antibody: Upregulated obese product 11 (UROP11) was isolated from subtractive library for mouse hypothalamus. It is detected in numerous tissues and is upregulated in the hypothalamus and adipocytes in obese mice. UROP11 is also observed in human neural and lymphoid tissues; its expression appears to be regulated by the level of lymphoid activation. Urop11 expression is strongly upregulated both in vivo in mouse hypothalamus and in vitro in mouse neural cell lines after treatment with leptin, indicating Urop11 is a target of leptin activity and thus may play a role in obesity.

Cytoplasmic Protein NCK1 (NCK1) is a cytoplasmic protein that contains one SH2 domain and three SH3 domains. NCK1 is a member of the adapter family, which associates with tyrosine-phosphorylated growth factor receptors, such as KDR and PDGFRB, or their cellular substrates. NCK1 maintains low levels of EIF2S1 phosphorylation by promoting its dephosphorylation by PP1. NCK1 plays a role in the DNA damage response, but not in the detection of the damage by ATM/ATR. It is also involved in transducing signals from receptor tyrosine kinases to downstream signal recipients, such as ELK1-dependent transcriptional activation in response to activated Ras signaling.

Product is the lyophilized powder of horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated goat IgG fraction to guinea pig IgG (whole molecule) and buffer salts. The total protein is measured using the Biuret procedure with bovine albumin as the standard. Protein Delta Homolog 1 (DLK-1) is a transmembrane protein which contains a signal peptide, an extracellular domain with six tandem epidermai growth factor (EGF)-like domains, a single pass transmembrane domain, and a short cytoplasmic tail. Description:
Annexin V is an anticoagulant protein that acts as an indirect inhibitor of the thromboplastin-specific complex, which is involved in the blood coagulation cascade. Annexin V competes for phosphatidylserine binding sites (e. g. platelets) with prothrombin or coagulation factors and inhibits the activity of phospholipase A1. Antibodies directed against annexin V are found in patients with a disease called the antiphospholipid syndrome(APS), a thrombophilic disease associated with autoantibodies against phospholipid compounds. Annexin V is used as a probe in the 'annexin V affinity assay' to detect cells that have expressed phosphatidylserine on the cell surface, a feature found in apoptosis and other forms of cell death.

Uroplakin 3A may play an important role in AUM-cytoskeleton interaction in terminally differentiated urothelial cells. It also contributes to the formation of urothelial glycocalyx, which may play an important role in preventing bacterial adherence through FimH bacterial protein binding leading to bladder infection. Uroplakin 3A has been shown as a helpful marker for the detection of bladder cancer.
