SHISA9 Antibody: Shisa proteins are a recently-identified family of modulators of both FGF and Wnt signaling that block both maturation and transport to the cell surface of their respective receptors. SHISA9, also known as CKAMP44a, is a brain-specific type I transmembrane protein that associates with AMPA receptors in synaptic spines and promotes AMPA receptor desensitization at excitatory synapses. It is thought to modulate short-term plasticity at specific excitatory synapses.

FLIP is an apoptosis regulator protein which functions as a crucial link between cell survival and cell death pathways in mammalian cells and acts as an inhibitor of TNFRSF6 mediated apoptosis. A proteolytic fragment (p43) is likely retained in the death-inducing signaling complex (DISC) thereby blocking further recruitment and processing of caspase-8 at the complex. Full length and shorter isoforms have been shown either to induce apoptosis or to reduce TNFRSF-triggered apoptosis. FLIP lacks enzymatic (caspase) activity. FLIP is highly expressed in skeletal muscle, pancreas, heart, kidney, placenta and peripheral blood leukocytes.

PGCC1 Antibody: The transcription factor peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARg) plays essential roles in adipogenesis by regulating adipocyte-specific genes through association of various co-factors. One such co-factor, PGCC1 (also known as FAM120B), is widely expressed in adult tissues and throughout embryonic development. Overexpression of this protein in OP9 pre-adipocytes promoted their differentiation into adipocytes, and knockdown of PGCC1 expression through RNA interference blocked this process. PGCC1 is homologous to C9orf10 (also known as FAM120A) and has been mapped to chromosome Xp11.22. At least two isoforms of PGCC1 are known to exist.

The 1A8 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with the 21 to 25 kDa glycophosphatidylinositol-anchored protein known as Ly-6G, expressed by the granulocytes from the bone marrow and periphery neutrophils. Ly-6G and Ly-6C form the Granulocyte Receptor-1 antigen (GR-1). The binding of the 1A8 antibody to the Ly-6G can be blocked by another antibody, RB6-8C5, which also recognizes Ly-6C. While 1A8 is specific for only Ly-6G, RB6-8C5 also binds to Ly-6C.

Low affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc region receptor II (CD32B) is a single-pass type I membrane protein and contains 2 Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains. The inhibitory CD32B is expressed on B cells and myeloid dendritic cells. Ligation of CD32B on B cells downregulates antibody production and may, in some circumstances, promote apoptosis. Co-ligation of CD32B on dendritic cells inhibits maturation and blocks cell activation. CD32B may also be a target formonoclonal antibody therapy for malignancies.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the intercellular adhesion molecule (ICAM) family. All ICAM proteins are type I transmembrane glycoproteins, contain 2-9 immunoglobulin-like C2-type domains, and bind to the leukocyte adhesion LFA-1 protein. This protein may play a role in lymphocyte recirculation by blocking LFA-1-dependent cell adhesion. It mediates adhesive interactions important for antigen-specific immune response, NK-cell mediated clearance, lymphocyte recirculation, and other cellular interactions important for immune response and surveillance. The 17A2 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with the mouse T lymphocytes receptor (TCR) associated CD3 complex, resulting in cellular activation and proliferation. CD3 is expressed by thymocytes and mature lymphocytes, and contains gamma, delta, and epsilon subunits, involved in the assembly, trafficking, and surface expression of T-cell receptor complex. The interaction between the T lymphocytes and the 17A2 antibody can be blocked by the anti-CD3e antibody, demonstrating that the 17A2 antibody recognizes the CD3 epsilon chain.
