Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 1A (Tnfrsf1a) is a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily. Tnfrsf1a is one of the major receptors for the tumor necrosis factor-alpha. It can activate the transcription factor NF-κB, mediate apoptosis, and function as a regulator of inflammation. Antiapoptotic protein BCL2-associated athanogene 4 (BAG4/SODD) and adaptor proteins TRADD and TRAF2 have been shown to interact with this receptor, and thus play regulatory roles in the signal transduction mediated by the receptor. Germline mutations of the extracellular domains of this receptor were found to be associated with the human genetic disorder called tumor necrosis factor associated periodic syndrome (TRAPS) or periodic fever syndrome

Ephrin-A4 (EFNA4) is also known as EPH-related receptor tyrosine kinase ligand 4 (LERK4), EPLG4, which belongs to the ephrin family. EFNA4 contains one ephrin RBD (ephrin receptor-binding) domain. EFNA4 is cell surface GPI-bound ligand for Eph receptors, a family of receptor tyrosine kinases which are crucial for migration, repulsion and adhesion during neuronal, vascular and epithelial development. EFNA4 binds promiscuously Eph receptors residing on adjacent cells, leading to contact-dependent bidirectional signaling into neighboring cells. EFNA4 may play a role in the interaction between activated B-lymphocytes and dendritic cells in tonsils.

Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2 D1（UBE2D1）belongs to the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. Ubiquitination involves at least three classes of enzymes: ubiquitin-activating enzymes, or E1s, ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes, or E2s, and ubiquitin-protein ligases, or E3s. This enzyme is closely related to a stimulator of iron transport (SFT), and is up-regulated in hereditary hemochromatosis. Tumor Necrosis Factor Ligand Superfamily Member 15 (TNFSF15) is a new member of the tumor necrosis factor family. TNFSF15 is predominantly an endothelial cell-specific gene, and recombinant TNFSF15 is a potent inhibitor of endothelial cell proliferation, angiogenesis and tumor growth. TNFSF15 exerts two activities on endothelial cells: early G1 arrest of G0/G1-cells responding to growth stimuli and programmed cell death of proliferating cells. These activities are highly specific to endothelial cells. TNFSF15 is also able to regulate the expression of several important genes involved in angiogenesis. These findings are consistent with the view that TNFSF15 functions as an autocrine cytokine to inhibit angiogenesis and stabilize the vasculature.

Parathyroid hormone 1 receptor(PTH1R) is a multi-pass membrane protein. The protein is expressed in high levels in bone and kidney and regulates calcium ionhomeostasis through activation of adenylate cyclase and phospholipase C. In bone, it is expressed on the surface of osteoblasts. When the receptor is activated through PTH binding, osteoblasts express RANKL (Receptor Activator of Nuclear Factor kB Ligand), which binds to RANK (Receptor Activator of Nuclear Factor kB) on osteoclasts. This turns on osteoclasts to ultimately increase the resorption rate.

Low affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc region receptor II (CD32B) is a single-pass type I membrane protein and contains 2 Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains. The inhibitory CD32B is expressed on B cells and myeloid dendritic cells. Ligation of CD32B on B cells downregulates antibody production and may, in some circumstances, promote apoptosis. The enzyme UDP-Glucose 4-Epimerase (GALE) is a homodimeric epimerase found in bacterial, plant and mammalian cells. UDP-Glucose 4-Epimerase performs the final step in the Leloir pathway of Galactose metabolism, it catalyzes two distinct but analogous reactions: the epimerization of UDP-Gglucose to UDP-Galactose and the epimerization of UDP-N-Acetylglucosamine to UDP-N-Acetylgalactosamine. The bifunctional nature of the enzyme has the important metabolic consequence that mutant cells (or individuals) are dependent not only on exogenous galactose, but also on exogenous N-acetylgalactosamine as a necessary precursor for the synthesis of glycoproteins and glycolipids.

Vinculin is a focal adhesion and cytoskeletal protein that distributed mainly at cell-cell junctions and cell-extracellular matrix (ECM) adhesion that belongs to the Vinculin/ alpha-Catenin family. Vinculin is an Actin-binding protein and component of the Actin-Linking Functional module that senses and feels the mechanical properties of the extracellular environment. Vinculin is also a key factor that couples, transmits, transduces, and regulates mechanical force between the cytoskeleton and adhesion receptors. Vinculin generally forms two structural states, an open (active) and closed (inactive) state, which are controlled by conformational interaction(s) between the head and tail domains. Vinculin is involved in the mechano-chemical signal transmission of cells by binding to a variety of focal adhesion or cytoskeletal proteins, and plays important roles in cell adhesion, extension, motion, proliferation and survival.

Interleukin-22 (IL-22), also known as IL-10 related T cell derived inducible factor (ILTIF) was initially identified as a gene induced by IL-9 in mouse T cells and mast cells. IL-22 has been shown to activate STAT1 and STAT3 in several hepatoma cell lines and upregulate the production of acute phase proteins. IL-22 is produced by normal T cells upon anti-CD3 stimulation in humans. Mouse IL-22 expression is also induced in various organs upon lipopolysaccharide injection, suggesting that IL-22 may be involved in inflammatory responses. The functional IL-22 receptor complex consists of two receptor subunits, IL-22R(CRF29) and IL-10Rbeta(CRF24), belonging to the class II cytokine receptor family.
