Description:   Receptor tyrosine kinase which binds promiscuously transmembrane ephrin-B family ligands residing on adjacent cells, leading to contact-dependent bidirectional Signalling into neighboring cells. The Signalling pathway downstream of the receptor is referred to as forward Signalling while the Signalling pathway downstream of the ephrin ligand is referred to as reverse Signalling. Cognate/functional ephrin ligands for this receptor include EFNB1, EFNB2 and EFNB3. During nervous system development, regulates retinal axon guidance redirecting ipsilaterally ventrotemporal retinal ganglion cells axons at the optic chiasm midline. This probably requires repulsive interaction with EFNB2. In the adult nervous system together with EFNB3, regulates chemotaxis, proliferation and polarity of the hippocampus neural progenitors. In addition to its role in axon guidance plays also an important redundant role with other ephrin-B receptors in development and maturation of dendritic spines and synapse formation. May also regulate angiogenesis. More generally, may play a role in targeted cell migration and adhesion. Upon activation by EFNB1 and probably other ephrin-B ligands activates the MAPK/ERK and the JNK Signalling cascades to regulate cell migration and adhesion respectively.

Description:   APOB48R is a macrophage receptor that binds to the apolipoprotein B48 of dietary triglyceride (TG) rich lipoproteins. It may provide essential lipids, lipid soluble vitamins and other nutrients to reticuloendothelial cells.

Numéro de catalogue: (BOSSBS-6338R-CY5.5)

Fournisseur:  Bioss
Description:   This gene encodes a lipid-binding protein belonging to the apolipoprotein gene family. The protein is thought to play a role in lipid metabolism. Polymorphisms in this gene may influence circulating lipid levels and may be associated with coronary artery disease risk. This gene is present in a cluster with other related apolipoprotein genes on chromosome 19. Naturally occurring read-through transcription exists between this gene and the neighboring downstream apolipoprotein C-II (APOC2) gene.

Description:   Upon serum stimulation, phosphorylates CDKN1B/p27Kip1, thus controlling CDKN1B subcellular location and cell cycle progression in G1 phase. May be involved in trafficking and/or processing of RNA (By similarity).

Description:   Inhibits NF-kappa-B activation triggered by overexpression of RIPK1 and TRAF6 but not of RELA. Inhibits also tumor necrosis (TNF), IL-1 and TLR4-induced NF-kappa-B activation in a dose-dependent manner. Overexpression sensitizes cells to TNF-induced apoptosis. Could be involved in regulating NF-kappa-B activation and apoptosis. Is a potent inhibitory factor for osteoclast differentiation. Involved in protein degradation via the ubiquitin-proteasome system and plays a critical role in muscle atrophy. May act by anchoring ubiquitinylated proteins to the proteasome, playing a critical role in protein degradation.

Description:   CXCL15 (Lungkine) is a CXC chemokine that is expressed in murine lung epithelial cells and, to a lesser extent, in certain fetal tissues. No human homolog has been identified and a specific cell surface receptor has not yet been found. Lungkine expression in lung tissue is elevated in response to inflammation, at which time it acts to specifically recruit neutrophils and direct them into the lung airway.

Description:   Lysine methylation occurs in three distinct states, having either one (me1), two (me2) or three (me3) methyl groups attached to the amine group of the lysine side chain. In eukaryotes, histone H3 trimethylated at lysine 4 (H3K4me3) is associated with active chromatin and gene expression.
