Interleukin-10 receptor subunit beta(IL10RB), also known as Cytokine receptor class-II member 4,Cytokine receptor family 2 member 4,Interleukin-10 receptor subunit 2, belongs to the type II cytokine receptor family. IL10RB is a single- pass type I membrane protein and contains two fibronectin type-III domains. It is an accessory chain which is essential for the active interleukin 10 receptor complex. Coexpression of IL10RB and IL10RA proteins has been shown to be required for IL10-induced signal transduction. Defects in IL10RB are the cause of inflammatory bowel disease type 25 (IBD25) which is a chronic, relapsing inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract with a complex etiology.

Description:
Brain derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) is a member of the neurotrophin family of growth factors that includes NGF, NT3, and NT4. All neurotrophins have six conserved cysteine residues and share a 55% sequence identity at the amino acid level. BDNF is a potent neurotrophic factor that supports the growth and survivability of nerve and/or glial cells. BDNF has been shown to enhance the survival and differentiation of several classes of neurons in vitro, including neural crest and placode derived sensory neurons, dopaminergic neurons in the substantia nigra, basal forebrain cholinergic neurons, hippocampal neurons, and retinal ganglial cells. BDNF is expressed within peripheral ganglia and is not restricted to neuronal target fields, raising the possibility that BDNF has paracrine or even autocrine actions on neurons as well as non neuronal cells. Expression of BDNF is reduced in both Alzheimer's and Huntington disease patients. In addition, functional studies showed that age-associated changes in BDNF-mediated pathways can enhance inflammation and increase myocardial injury after myocardial infarction in the aging heart.

The IL-17 family include IL-17A, IL-17B, IL-17C, IL-17D, IL-17E (also called IL-25), and IL-17F. The family is comprised of at least six proinflammatory cytokines that share a conserved cysteine-knot structure but diverge at the N-terminus. All members of the IL-17 family have a similar protein structure, with four highly conserved cysteine residues critical to their 3-dimensional shape, yet they have no sequence similarity to any other known cytokines. IL-17 family members are glycoproteins secreted as dimers that induce local cytokine production and recruit granulocytes to sites of inflammation. IL-17 is induced by IL-15 and IL-23, mainly in activated CD4+ T cells distinct from Th1 or Th2 cells. IL-17F is the most homologous to IL-17, but is induced only by IL-23 in activated monocytes.

IL-5 is expressed in eosinophils, NK cells, TC2 CD8+ T cells, mast cells, CD45+ CD4+ T cells, gamma delta T cells and IL-1 beta activated endothelial cells. IL-5 acts as a growth and differentiation factor for both B cells and eosinophils. Relative to B cells, IL-5 appears to induce the differentiation of activated conventional B-2 cells into Ig-secreting cells. In addition, it induces the growth of B-1 progenitors as well as IgM production by B-1 cells.IL-5 appears to perform a number of functions on eosinophils. These include the down modulation of Mac-1,the upregulation of receptors for IgA and IgG,the stimulation of lipid mediator (leukotriene C4 and PAF) secretion and the induction of granule release.IL-5 also promotes the growth and differentiation of eosinophils.

KappaB ras2 Antibody: KappaB ras-1 ( kappa B-ras-1) and kappaB-ras-2 are two small proteins that similar to Ras-like small GTPases that associate with I kappa B (I kappa B), an inhibitor of the transcription factor NF-kappa B. I kappa B exists in two homologous forms, I kappa B-alpha and I kappa B-beta, although I kappa B-beta contains a unique 47-amino acid region within its ankyrin domain. While inactive I kappa B-alpha-NF-kappa B complexes can shuttle in and out of the nucleus, I kappa B-beta-NF-kappa B complexes are retained exclusively in the cytoplasm. It is suggested that kappaB-ras proteins preferentially bind to the I kappa B-beta form through this unique insert within the ankyrin region, thus modulating the cellular location of I kappa B-beta and regulating the rate of degradation of I kappa B-beta. This antibody is specific for kappaB-ras2 and has no cross-reactivity to kappaB-ras1.
