Description:   Interferon alpha/ beta Receptor 2 (IFN- alpha/ beta R2) is a single-pass type I membrane protein which belongs to the type II cytokine receptor family. It complexes with IFN- alpha/ beta R1 to form the signaling receptor complex for the family of alpha and beta IFN subtypes. By alternative splicing, IFN- alpha/ beta R2 can exist as a secreted soluble protein or as a type I membrane protein. IFN- alpha/ beta R2 is the principal ligand binding subunit of the receptor. Ligand binding is stabilized by the subsequent association with IFN- alpha/ beta R1, resulting in the formation of a signaling ternary receptor complex. IFNAR2 was detected in most lymphocytes, monocytes, and granulocytes, although IFNAR2 expression was higher in the monocytes and granulocytes than in the lymphocytes. Among the lymphocyte subsets, IFNAR2 showed high expression in natural killer (NK) cells and low expression in T lymphocytes. Isoform 1 and isoform 3 of IFNAR2 are directly involved in signal transduction due to their interaction with the TYR kinase, JAK1. Isoform 1 also interacts with the transcriptional factors, STAT1 and STAT2. Both forms are potent inhibitors of type I IFN activity.

Description:   Tissue Factor (TF) is a single-pass type I membrane glycoprotein member of the tissue factor family. TF expression is highly dependent upon cell type. This factor enables cells to initiate the blood coagulation cascades, and it functions as the high-affinity receptor for the coagulation factor VII. TF initiates blood coagulation by forming a complex with circulating factor VII or VIIa. The complex activates factors IX or X by specific limited protolysis. TF plays a role in normal hemostasis by initiating the cell-surface assembly and propagation of the coagulation protease cascade.

Description:   Lysosome-Associated Membrane Glycoprotein 1 (LAMP1) is a single-pass type I membrane protein belonging to the LAMP family. LAMP1 is expressed largely in the endosome-lysosome membranes of cells.It shuttles between lysosomes, endosomes, and the plasma membrane. LAMP1 functions to present carbohydrate ligands to selectins and it has also been implicated in tumor cell metastasis. It has been proposed LAMP1 can be used as a therapeutic agent for certain cancers, as well as a marker for lysosomal storage disorders and degranulation on lymphocytes such as CD8+ and NK cells. Cell surface LAMP1 and LAMP2 have been shown to promote adhesion of human peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMC) to vascular endothelium, therefore they are possibly involved in the adhesion of PBMCs to the site of inflammation.

Description:   BANP Antibody: BANP was initially identified as a binding protein to BTG3 in a yeast two-hybrid screen. BANP acts as a tumor suppressor by stabilizing p53 expression and leading to cell cycle arrest. p53 in turn binds to upstream elements of the BANP promoter, thereby forming a feedback loop. BANP is down-regulated in advanced stages of human breast cancer, and its overexpression in breast cancer cell lines inhibits their ability to metastasize by modulating TGF-beta signaling. Furthermore, BANP can modulate NF-kappa B transactivation and can inhibit tumorigenesis by regulating NF-kappa B target genes. Recent experiments have shown that BANP can also repress HIV-1 LTR mediated transcription by tethering the LTR matrix attachment region to nuclear matrix.

Description:   CIITA Antibody: CIITA contains an acidic transcriptional activation domain, four LRRs (leucine-rich repeats) and a GTP binding domain.
