Description:
RRM1 is one of two non-identical subunits that constitute ribonucleoside-diphosphate reductase, an enzyme essential for the production of deoxyribonucleotides prior to DNA synthesis in S phase of dividing cells. Its gene is located in the imprinted gene domain of 11p15.5, an important tumor-suppressor gene region. Alterations in this region have been associated with the Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome, Wilms tumor, rhabdomyosarcoma, adrenocrotical carcinoma, and lung, ovarian, and breast cancer. Its gene may play a role in malignancies and disease that involve this region.Western blots using two different antibodies against two unique regions of this protein target confirm the same apparent molecular weight in our tests. This gene encodes one of two non-identical subunits which constitute ribonucleoside-diphosphate reductase, an enzyme essential for the production of deoxyribonucleotides prior to DNA synthesis in S phase of dividing cells. It is one of several genes located in the imprinted gene domain of 11p15.5, an important tumor-suppressor gene region. Alterations in this region have been associated with the Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome, Wilms tumor, rhabdomyosarcoma, adrenocrotical carcinoma, and lung, ovarian, and breast cancer. This gene may play a role in malignancies and disease that involve this region. This gene is oriented in a head-to-tail configuration with the stromal interaction molecule 1 gene (STIM1), with the 3' end of STIM1 situated 1.6 kb from the 5' end of this gene.

Description:
Linker for Activation of T-Cells Family Member 2 (LAT2) is a single-pass type III membrane protein. LAT2 is highly expressed in the spleen, peripheral blood lymphocytes, and germinal centers of lymph nodes. LAT2 is involved in FCER1 (high affinity immunoglobulin epsilon receptor)-mediated signaling in mast cells. It may also be involved in BCR (B-cell antigen receptor)-mediated signaling in B-cells and FCGR1 (high affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc receptor I)-mediated signaling in myeloid cells. Coupleing activate of these receptors and their associated kinases with distal intracellular events through the recruitment of GRB2.

Description:
Tripeptidyl-Peptidase 1 (TPP1) belongs to the peptidase S53 family. TPP1 is detected in all tissues examined with highest levels in heart and placenta and relatively similar levels in other tissues. TPP1 is lysosomal serine protease with tripeptidyl-peptidase I activity. TPP1 may act as a non-specific lysosomal peptidase which generates tripeptides from the breakdown products produced by lysosomal proteinases. TPP1 requires substrates with an unsubstituted N-terminus. TPP1 mutations have also been shown to cause neuronal ceroid lipofuscinosis type 2 (CLN2).

Description:
SIAH1 is a protein that is a member of the seven in absentia homolog (SIAH) family. The protein is an E3 ligase and is involved in ubiquitination and proteasome-mediated degradation of specific proteins. The activity of this ubiquitin ligase has been implicated in the development of certain forms of Parkinson's disease, the regulation of the cellular response to hypoxia and induction of apoptosis. Alternative splicing results in several additional transcript variants, some encoding different isoforms and others that have not been fully characterizedThis gene encodes a protein that is a member of the seven in absentia homolog (SIAH) family. Description:
Multiprotein complexes are key determinants of Golgi apparatus structure and its capacity for intracellular transport and glycoprotein modification. Several complexes have been identified, including the Golgi transport complex (GTC), the LDLC complex, which is involved in glycosylation reactions, and the SEC34 complex, which is involved in vesicular transport. These 3 complexes are identical and have been termed the conserved oligomeric Golgi (COG) complex, which includes COG4.Multiprotein complexes are key determinants of Golgi apparatus structure and its capacity for intracellular transport and glycoprotein modification.
