Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor-Like 1 (FGFRL1) is a single-pass type I membrane protein that belongs to the FGF receptor family. The mature human FGFRL1 consists of a 354 amino acid extracellular domain (ECD) with 3 Ig-like C2-type domains, a 21 amino acid transmembrane segment, and a 134 amino acid cytoplasmic domain. FGFR1 expressed in various tissues, preferentially in cartilaginous tissues and pancreas. It highly expressed in the liver, kidney, heart, brain and skeletal muscle, weakly expressed in the lung, small intestine and spleen. FGFRL1 has a negative effect on cell proliferation.

This antibody recognises an epitope encoded by exon v4 on the variant portion of human CD44. The CD44 molecule belongs to a family of cellular adhesion molecules found on a wide range of normal and malignant cells in epithelial, mesothelial and hemopoiesis tissues. It is a single gene with 20 exons, of which 10 are normally expressed to encode the basic CD44 (H-CAM) molecule. The additional 10 exons (v1 to v10) are only expressed by alternative splicing of the nuclear RNA. The expression of specific cell adhesion molecule CD44 splice variants has been reported to be associated with metastasis in certain human malignancies.

Activin Receptor Type-1B (ACVR1B) is a single-pass type I membrane protein that belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. ACVR1B contains one GS domain and one protein kinase domain and is expressed in many tissues, most strongly in kidney, pancreas, brain, lung, and liver. ACVR1B acts as a transducer of activin or activin like ligands signals. Activin binds to either ACVR2A or ACVR2B and then forms a complex with ACVR1B, ACVR2A or ACVR2B activating ACVR1B through phosphorylation of its regulatory GS domain. They go on to recruit the R-SMADs, SMAD2 and SMAD3. ACVR1B also transducers signals of nodal, GDF-1, and Vg1. Mutations in ACVR1B are associated with pituitary tumours.

Trem-like transcript 2 protein (TLT2), also known as Triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells-like protein 2, TLT2 and C6orf76, is single-pass type I membrane protein. TREML2 contains one Ig-like V-type domain, which can be induced in CD4 T-cell by concanavalin-A. As a cell surface receptor, TREML2 may play a role in the innate and adaptive immune response. TREML2 also acts as a counter-receptor for CD276 and interaction with CD276 on T-cells enhances T-cell activation. Bone Morphogenetic Protein Receptor Type-1A (BMPR1A) belongs to the TKL Ser/Thr protein kinase family and TGFB receptor subfamily, including the type I receptors BMPR1A and BMPR1B and the type II receptor BMPR2. BMPR1A is a single-pass type I membrane protein and highly expressed in skeletal muscle. BMPR1A contains one GS domain and one protein protein kinase domain. BMPR1A is necessary for the extracellular matrix depostition by osteoblasts. BMPR1A can activate SMAD transcriptional regulators, binding with ligands. Defects in BMPR1A are a cause of juvenile polyposis syndrome, Cowden disease and hereditary mixed polyposis syndrome 2 (HMPS2).
