The 23C6 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with the human CD51/61 molecule, known as the integrin alpha v Beta 3 complex or vitronectin receptor. The complex binds to other ligands such as CD29, fibrinogen, fibrinectin, vWf, laminin, and thrombospondin.
