Description:
ORAI2 Antibody: Antigen stimulation of immune cells triggers Ca++ entry through Ca++ release-activated Ca++ (CRAC) channels. ORAI2 is one of two mammalian homologs to ORAI1, a recently identified four-transmembrane spanning protein that is an essential component of CRAC. Like ORAI1, ORAI2 has been shown to function as a highly selective Ca++ plasma membrane channel that is gated through interactions with STIM1, the store-activated endoplasmic reticulum Ca++ sensor, although at a lesser efficacy than ORAI1. This antibody is predicted to have no cross-reactivity to ORAI1 or ORAI3.

Description:
ABCC9 is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). This protein is a member of the MRP subfamily which is involved in multi-drug resistance. This protein is thought to form ATP-sensitive potassium channels in cardiac, skeletal, and vascular and non-vascular smooth muscle. Protein structure suggests a role as the drug-binding channel-modulating subunit of the extrapancreatic ATP-sensitive potassium channels. No disease has been associated with this gene thus far. Alternative splicing of this gene results in several products, two of which result from differential usage of two terminal exons and one of which results from exon deletion. Description:
APC7 Antibody: Cell cycle regulated protein ubiquitination and degradation within subcellular domains is thought to be essential for the normal progression of mitosis. APC7 is a highly conserved component of the anaphase promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C), a cell cycle-regulated E3 ubiquitin ligase that controls progression through mitosis and the G1 phase of the cell cycle. APC/C is responsible for degrading anaphase inhibitors, mitotic cyclins, and spindle-associated proteins ensuring that events of mitosis take place in proper sequence. The individual APC/C components mRNA and protein levels are expressed at approximately the same levels in most tissues and cell lines, suggesting that they perform their functions as part of a complex. APC7 is required for proper protein ubiquitination function of APC/C and for the interaction of APC/C with various transcription coactivators.

Description:
PIAS3 Antibody: The PIAS (protein inhibitor of activated STAT) proteins play a crucial role as transcriptional coregulators in various cellular pathways, including the STAT, p53 and the steroid hormone signaling pathway. The PIAS protein family includes at least five evolutionarily conserved genes, including PIAS3. The major function of the PIAS proteins is the control of gene transcription and can also act as small ubiquitin-like-modifier (SUMO) E3 ligases. PIAS3 binds specifically to STAT3 following the stimulation of STAT3. Increased expression of PIAS3 has been observed in several human cancers, including lung, breast, and brain tumors, but not in anaplastic lymphoma kinase-positive T/null-cell lymphomas, indicating that PIAS3 plays multiple roles in different tissue and cell types.

Description:
CCR5 Antibody: Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and related virus require coreceptors, in addition to CD4, to infect target cells. Some G protein-coupled receptors including CCR5, CXCR4, CCR3, CCR2b and CCR8 in the chemokine receptor family, and four new human molecules GPR15, STRL33, GPR1 and V28 were recently identified as HIV coreceptors. Among them, CCR5 (CC-CKR-5) is a principal coreceptor for macrophage- and dual-tropic HIV-1 strains fusion and entry of human white blood cells. CCR5 is required for the infection by HIV-1, HIV-2, and SIV. The beta-chemokines RANTES, MIP-alpha and MIP-beta are the ligands for CCR5 and prevent infection by M-tropic HIV-1. CXC5 associates with the surface CD4-gp120 of HIV complex and leads to membrane fusion and virus entry of target cells. The amino-terminal domain and the extracellular loops of CCR5 serve as HIV biding sites. CCR5 messenger RNA is expressed in lymphoid organs and monocytes.
