Tumour necrosis factor (TNF, cachexin or cachectin and formerly known as tumour necrosis factor-alpha) is a cytokine involved in systemic inflammation and is a member of a group of cytokines that stimulate the acute phase reaction. The receptor TNF-R1 is activated by both the membrane-bound and soluble trimeric forms of TNF-alpha, whereas the receptor TNF-R2 only responds to the membrane-bound form of TNF-alpha (MultimericTNF-alpha (Prod. No. AG-40B-0019). Since the MultimericTNF-alpha mimics the membrane-bound form (forms oligomers higher than trimer), it is the only TNF-alpha protein that can activate the TNF-R2. For TNF-R1 activation, either "normal" TNF-alpha or MultimericTNF-alpha can be used."

Description:
NOTCH4 is a member of the Notch family. Members of this Type 1 transmembrane protein family share structural characteristics including an extracellular domain consisting of multiple epidermal growth factor-like (EGF) repeats, and an intracellular domain consisting of multiple, different domain types. Notch family members play a role in a variety of developmental processes by controlling cell fate decisions. The Notch signaling network is an evolutionarily conserved intercellular signaling pathway which regulates interactions between physically adjacent cells. NOTCH4 is cleaved in the trans-Golgi network, and presented on the cell surface as a heterodimer. NOTCH4 functions as a receptor for membrane bound ligands, and may play a role in vascular, renal and hepatic development. NOTCH4 gene may be associated with susceptibility to schizophrenia in a small portion of cases.

IL2 receptor complex is involved in receptor mediated endocytosis and transduces the mitogenic signals of IL2. IL2 receptor complex has three forms with respect to ability to bind IL2. IL-2RB is belonged to a type I membrane protein,and has a 26 residue signal peptide, a 214 residue extracellular region, a 25 residue transmembrane region and a 286 residue cytoplasmic domain. IL-2RB is the subunit critical for receptor-mediated signalling via physically or functionally coupling to other signalling molecules, such as the Jak-STAT and Src-family protein tyrosine kinase although it lacks apparent catalytic motifs.

RUSC2 Antibody: RUSC2, also known as Iporin, shares with the related protein RUSC1 a common domain structure of RUN, leucine zipper and SH3 domain in addition to over 30% amino acid identity. RUSC2 is a rab1-interacting protein that also interacts with GM130, another rab1-interacting protein. RUSC2 interacts with specific rab1 isoforms with different rab-binding specificity. It has been suggested that RUSC2 may function as a link between the targeting of ER derived vesicles triggered by the rab1 GTPase and a signaling pathway composed of proteins containing SH3 and/or poly-proline regions.
