The future of cell culture: Transforming the complexities of 3D cell culture into reliable and translatable science

Webinar

Wednesday, 23rd October, 2024
10:00 - 11:00 AM CEST (Berlin, Paris, Madrid)

Register

In this webinar, experts share how labs can gain confidence in complex experimental outcomes using AI-powered solutions and automated cell culture protocols. In addition, you'll get an introduction to the revolutionary new CellXpress™ Automated Cell Culture System and learn novel ways to make key decisions sooner, achieve milestones faster, and get to clinic earlier.

Key takeaways include:

  • How to automate the entire cell culture process – from assay set-up to screening and data analysis – using machine learning-driven, automated workflows to make complex assays easier, reproducible, and more reliable.
  • How researchers can alleviate the bottlenecks that come with labor-intensive complex protocols and increase productivity for drug screening.
  • How to enable high-content readouts and complex analysis to maximize the information generated from increasingly complex data.

Register now to discover the latest breakthrough technology in automated cell culture powered by machine learning-enabled decision-making.

Felix Spira

Felix Spira, PhD, graduated from the University of Bonn, with a major in cell biology and biochemistry and continued his doctoral studies at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Munich. During this time, Dr. Spira used cutting-edge microscopes to develop a novel theory of plasma membrane organization. He then moved to the IMBA in Vienna for his postdoctoral studies in the field of high-throughput microscopy and advanced image analysis. After fruitful years in academia, he decided to switch gears and start a new career as an application scientist at Molecular Devices where he brings the world of biology together with hardware engineering. Dr. Spira used this expertise as a member of the development team for the CellXpress.ai Automated Cell Culture System, an end-to-end AI-driven cell culture innovation hub that gives labs total control over demanding cell culture feeding and passaging schedules.

Dr. Sirenko

Dr. Sirenko is an established cell biologist, imaging specialist, and international expert in complex cell-based models for research and drug discovery. As the Senior Scientist of Assay Development at Molecular Devices, she works extensively with high-content imaging and analysis of novel cell systems. Dr. Sirenko currently leads a group of scientists and engineers developing new methods and tools to automate 3D cell models – including organoids and organ-on-chip – for modeling cancer, neurotoxicity, cardiac disease, and toxicology. She is also actively involved in building collaborations in the areas of cell culture, microfluidics, and image analysis. She has over 15 years of industry experience, holds a PhD in biochemistry and biophysics, and has authored more than 36 scientific papers in the fields of cell biology, toxicology, and biotechnology.
