Description:   The 2F1 monoclonal antibody is specific for the mouse Killer cell Lectin-like Receptor G1 (KLRG1), a homodimer consisting of two N-glycosylated subunits of 30-38 kDa, also known as MAFA (Mast cell Function-associated Antigen). The antigen contains a cytoplasmic motif similar to ITIM (the immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motif). KLRG1 is a receptor for cadherin, a family of transmembrane glycoproteins that mediate cell adhesion, and a common marker of T cell senescence. The receptor is believed to play an important role in the innate and adaptive immune system through the regulation of leukocytes. It is expressed on lymphokine-activated killer (LAK) cells, adherent LAK (A-LAK) cells, a sub-set of natural killer (NK) cells, T cells. In NK cells, it inhibits cytokine production and cytotoxicity activity. The receptor expression was not detected on the mouse peritoneal mast cells, or bone marrow mast cells.

Description:   KappaB ras Antibody: KappaB ras-1 ( kappa B-ras-1) and kappaB-ras-2 are two small proteins that similar to Ras-like small GTPases that associate with I kappa B (I kappa B), an inhibitor of the transcription factor NF-kappa B. I kappa B exists in two homologous forms, I kappa B-alpha and I kappa B-beta, although I kappa B-beta contains a unique 47-amino acid region within its ankyrin domain. While inactive I kappa B-alpha-NF-kappa B complexes can shuttle in and out of the nucleus, I kappa B-beta-NF-kappa B complexes are retained exclusively in the cytoplasm. It is suggested that kappaB-ras proteins preferentially bind to the I kappa B-beta form through this unique insert within the ankyrin region, thus modulating the cellular location of I kappa B-beta and regulating the rate of degradation of I kappa B-beta. This antibody detects both kappaB-ras1 and kappaB-ras2.

Description:   Nop30 Antibody: Apoptosis, also known as programmed cell death, plays major roles in development and normal tissue turnover in addition to tumor formation. Apoptosis is regulated by death domain (DD) and/or caspase recruitment domain (CARD) containing molecules and the caspase family of proteases. CARD domain containing cell death regulators include RAIDD, Apaf-1, caspase-9, and caspase-2. A novel CARD domain containing protein was recently identified and designated ARC for apoptosis repressor with CARD. An alternate splicing isoform of ARC was identified as Nop30. While ARC interacts with caspase-2 and -8 and suppresses apoptosis induced by cell death adapters FADD and TRADD and by cell death receptors Fas, TNFR-1 and DR3, Nop30 multimerizes and binds to the splicing factor SRp30c and may act to influence alternative splice site selection in vivo. The Nop30 antibody will not detect ARC protein.

Description:   ORAI3 Antibody: Antigen stimulation of immune cells triggers Ca++ entry through Ca++ release-activated Ca++ (CRAC) channels. ORAI3 is one of two mammalian homologs to ORAI1, a recently identified four-transmembrane spanning protein that is an essential component of CRAC. All three homologs have been shown to function as Ca++ plasma membrane channels gated through interactions with STIM1, the store-activated endoplasmic reticulum Ca++ sensor. However, ORAI3 channels failed to produce detectable Ca++ selective currents in cells co-transfected with ORAI3 and STIM1, indicating that ORAI3 channels undergo a lesser degree of depotentiation than ORAI1 or ORAI2. Na+ currents through ORAI1, 2 and 3 channels were equally inhibited by extracellular Ca++, indicating that each have similar affinities for Ca++ within the selectivity filter. This antibody is predicted to have no cross-reactivity to ORAI1 or ORAI2.

Description:   Pancreatic Lipase-Related Protein 1 (PNLIPRP1) belongs to the Lipase family within the AB hydrolase superfamily. PNLIPRP1 is a secreted protein and contains one PLAT domain. PNLIPRP1 is involved in lipid metabolic process, acting as a negative regulator of pancreatic lipase activity by competing with pancreatic lipase for colipase occupancy. PNLIPRP1 may play a role in inhibiting dietary triglyceride digestion, but it lacks detectable lipase activity towards triglycerides, diglycerides, phosphatidylcholine, galactolipids or cholesterol esters.

Description:   This mAb recognises both the free and protein-conjugated (either soluble or cell bound) form of fluorescein or carboxy-fluorescein. Sensitivity of the FITC-anti-FITC system is reportedly similar to that of the biotin-avidin system. In biotin or enzyme-labeled form, this mAb is also suitable for the conversion of fluorescein-labeled detection into immuno-enzymatic assays.

Description:   Interleukin-1 receptor accessory protein (IL1RAP or IL-1RAcP) is also known as Interleukin-1 receptor 3 (IL-1R-3 or IL-1R3), C3orf13, which belongs to the interleukin-1 receptor family. IL1RAP contains three Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains and one TIR domain. IL1RAP is detected in liver, skin, placenta, thymus and lung. IL-1R3 / IL1RAP is coreceptor with IL1R1, associates with IL1R1 bound to IL1B to form the high affinity interleukin-1 receptor complex which mediates interleukin-1-dependent activation of NF-kappa-B and other pathways.

Description:   WW domain-containing proteins are found in all eukaryotes and play an important role in the regulation of a wide variety of cellular functions such as protein degradation, transcription, and RNA splicing. This gene encodes a protein which contains 2 WW domains and a short-chain dehydrogenase/reductase domain (SRD). The highest normal expression of this gene is detected in hormonally regulated tissues such as testis, ovary, and prostate. This expression pattern and the presence of an SRD domain suggest a role for this gene in steroid metabolism.

Description:   The protein encoded by this gene is highly conserved in human, mouse, and chicken, showing 94% and 79% amino acid identity of human to mouse and chicken sequences, respectively. Hybridization to this gene was detected in spindle-shaped cells located along nerve fibers between the auditory ganglion and sensory epithelium. These cells accompany neurites at the habenula perforata, the opening through which neurites extend to innervate hair cells. This and the pattern of expression of this gene in chicken inner ear paralleled the histologic findings of acidophilic deposits, consistent with mucopolysaccharide ground substance, in temporal bones from DFNA9 (autosomal dominant nonsyndromic sensorineural deafness 9) patients. Mutations that cause DFNA9 have been reported in this gene. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding the same protein. Additional splice variants encoding distinct isoforms have been described but their biological validities have not been demonstrated. [provided by RefSeq].

Description:   The ZNF146 protein is a 33 kDa Kruppel protein, composed solely of 10 zinc finger motifs. ZNF146 overexpression in tumours may alter the balance between hRap1 and other telomeric proteins; therefore ZNF146 function may be linked to telomere regulation. ZNF146 is strongly overexpressed in many pancreas and colorectal cancers. Increased gene copy numbers are detected in 3 of 12 tumor cell lines and 2 of 12 primary pancreatic carcinomas. ZNF146 is overexpresseed in 80% of colorectal cancers.
