Description:   JMJD1B (jumonji domain containing 1B), also known as KDM3B, 5qNCA (5q Nuclear Co-Activator) or C5orf7, is a member of the JHDM2 histone demethylase family of proteins. Expressed in a wide variety of tissues, JMJD1B localizes to the nucleus and contains one JMJC domain and a C-terminal zinc finger motif. JMJD1B functions as a histone demethylase and, using iron as a cofactor, demethylates lysine-9 of Histone H3. This suggests that JMJD1B plays a central role in the histone code. Description:   PLEKHM3 (pleckstrin homology domain containing, family M, member 3), also known as DAPR or PLEKHM1L (pleckstrin homology domain containing, family M, member 1-like), is a 761 amino acid phosphoprotein that contains two pleckstrin homology (PH) domains and one phorbol-ester/DAG-type zinc finger. Description:   SLK is a member of the serine/threonine kinase subfamily, Ste20. This subfamily is comprised of several mammalian kinases which exhibit sequence similarity to the Saccharomyces cerevisiae serine/threonine kinase Ste20, a protein involved in relaying signals from G protein-coupled receptors to cytosolic MAP kinase cascades.
