FCGR3B is a GPI-anchor membrane protein and contains two Ig-like C2 type domains. FCGR3B can be expressed in orphonuclear leukocytes and stimulated eosinophils. FCGR3B can interact with INPP5D/SHIP1. FCGR3B localizes in the FCGR gene cluster is a CN polymorphic gene involved in the recruitment of polymorphonuclear neutrophils to sites of inflammation and their activation. FCGR3B may serve as a trap for immune complexes in the peripheral circulation which does not activate neutrophils.

Nicotinate-Nucleotide Pyrophosphorylase (QPRT) belongs to the nadC/modD family. QPRT plays an improtant role in catabolism of quinolinate which acts as a potent endogenous exitotoxin to neurons. In addition, QPRT serves as an an intermediate in the Tryptophan-Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide pathway. QPRT participates in some pathways including Cofactor biosynthesis, NAD(+) biosynthesis and the Nicotinate D-Ribonucleotide from Quinolinate. In addition, QPRT is involved in the catabolism of Quinolinic Acid (QA). The activity toward QA is slightly repressed by phosphoribosylpyrophosphate (PRPP) in both a competitive and a non-competitive manner.

ELF3 is a novel, highly tissue-restricted member of the ets transcription factor/oncogene family. ELF3 contains two putative DNA binding domains: an ETS domain, which is unique in that the 5' half shows relatively weak homology to known ets factors, and an A/T hook domain, found in HMG proteins and various other nuclear factors. In contrast to any known ets factors, ELF3 is expressed exclusively in epithelial cells. ELF3 is expected to be a critical regulator of epithelial cell differentiation. ETS factor ELF3 is a transcriptional regulator of angiopoietin-1 gene regulation in the setting of inflammation. ELF3 overexpressed early during human breast tumorigenesis. ELF3 expression confers a transformed and in vitro metastatic phenotype to otherwise normal MCF-12A cells. ELF3 mediates the expression of TGF-beta RII, and the transcriptional inhibition of ets-related transcription factor could be a one of the mechanisms of colonic carcinogenesis. ELF3 is positively and negatively modulated by other interacting proteins including Ku70, Ku86, p300, and CBP.

YPEL3 Antibody: YPEL3 (yippee-like 3) belongs to a family of five yippee-like proteins, all of which localize to the centrosome or mitotic spindle and are widely expressed in both adult and fetal tissue. This localization plus the fact that the family of human YPEL proteins share a high degree of sequence homology across species suggests that these proteins may have a conserved function involved in cell division. YPEL3 is a p53-regulated gene whose expression is induced by DNA damage and in turn induces cellular senescence. It appears to function as a tumor suppressor as it is downregulated in colon and breast tumors.
