Description: Leptin is a hormone that is produced by adipose tissue and plays critical roles in the physiologic regulation of body weight. Leptin acts through the leptin receptor (LEPR) to regulate adipose mass by inhibiting hunger and balancing energy usage. Leptin mutations cause severe hereditary obesity and hypogonadism in rodents and humans. Leptin also has thermogenic actions, regulates enzymes of fatty acid oxidation, and is involved in hematopoiesis, angiogenesis, wound healing, inflammation, and immune responses.

Fournisseur: ProSci Inc.
Description: The p70/p80 autoantigen is a nuclear complex consisting of two subunits with molecular masses of approximately 70 and 80 kDa. The complex functions as a single-stranded DNA-dependent ATP-dependent helicase. The complex may be involved in the repair of nonhomologous DNA ends such as that required for double-strand break repair, transposition, and V (D)J recombination. High levels of autoantibodies to p70 and p80 have been found in some patients with systemic lupus erythematosus.

Fournisseur: Thermo Fisher Scientific
Description: Imject™ Maleimide-Activated Blue Carrier™ Protein enables conjugation of a sulfhydryl-containing hapten to elicit an immune response and antibody production against the hapten. Blue Carrier™ Protein is a haemocyanin from the Concholepas concholepas mollusc with immunogenic properties similar to keyhole limpet haemocyanin. Blue Carrier™ Protein has a large mass (~8 × 106 Da) and has been successfully used in polyclonal and monoclonal antibody production for
synthetic haptens and peptides.

Numéro de catalogue: (PRSI90-456)

Fournisseur: ProSci Inc.
Description: Erythropoietin is the principal hormone involved in the regulation of erythropoiesis by stimulating the proliferation and differentiation of erythroid progenitor cells and the maintenance of a physiological level of circulating erythrocyte mass. It is a glycoprotein produced primarily by the kidney. The biological effects of EPO are mediated by the erythropoietin receptor (Epo R). Genetic variations in EPO is associated with susceptibility to microvascular complications of diabetes type 2 (MVCD2) (including diabetic retinopathy, diabetic nephropathy leading to end-stage renal disease and diabetic neuropathy). It is used for the treatment of anemia and misused as a performance-enhancing drug in endurance athletes.

Fournisseur: Rockland Immunochemicals
Description: Anti-Bassoon Antibody is suitable for use in WB and IHC. Expect a band approximately ~420kDa on specific lysates corresponding to the molecular mass of Bassoon.
UOM: 1 * 1 EA
Numéro de catalogue: (PROOBAM-U117)

Fournisseur: LGC Standards PROMOCHEM
Description: The CRM BAM-U117 represents a mixture of a sandy soil collected from a contaminated
former gasworks area in the Berlin region (Germany) and an unpolluted sandy soil from
Nalaikh region (Mongolia). The raw materials were dried at ambient air to constant mass,
and afterwards the fractions passing a 2 mm screen were ground to particle sizes below
125 µm. Before bottling, the two fractions were mixed and homogenised.

Fournisseur: STEMCELL Technologies
Description: Fibroblast growth factor 4 (FGF-4) is a member of the FGF superfamily (Beenken and Mohammadi). FGF-4 is expressed in pluripotent stem cells and is implicated in various stages of development and morphogenesis in a variety of organisms (Kosaka et al. 2009). FGF-4 has been shown to have an ability to promote neural stem cell proliferation and neuronal differentiation in the postnatal brain (Kosaka et al. 2006). FGF-4 has also been shown to increase the proliferation rate of mesenchymal stem cells (Farré et al.). FGF-4 supports the maintenance and self-renewal properties of human embryonic stem cells and also promotes the proliferation of these cells (Mayshar et al.). In the mouse, the Fgf4 gene also supports proliferation of the inner cell mass (ICM) and postimplantation embryos (Feldman et al.).

Fournisseur: ProSci Inc.
Description: The P1H12 monoclonal antibody reacts with CD146, 118 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein that is also called the melanoma cell adhesion molecule (Mel-CAM), MUC18, Endo-CAM, and S-Endo. It is a prominently glycosylated protein with carbohydrates comprising the majority of its mass and it is expressed on melanoma, stromal, endothelial, and bone marrow fibroblasts. The P1H12 antibody cross reacts with human, mouse, canine, rabbit to the exclusion of rat protein.

Description: Interleukin 6 (IL-6) is a multifunctional 24 kDa protein originally discovered in the medium of RNA stimulated fibroblastoid cells. It is upregulated by IL1, TNF, PDGF, IFN beta, TNF alpha, NGF, IL17 and downregulated by glucocorticoids IL4, TGF beta. IL-6 appears to be directly involved in the responses that occur after infection and cellular injury, and it may prove to be as important as IL1 and TNF alpha in regulating the acute phase response. IL-6 has also been implicated in regulating adipose mass.

Fournisseur: ProSci Inc.
Description: CD34 is a transmembrane glycoprotein with a molecular mass of approximately 110 kD that is selectively expressed on human hematopoietic progenitor cells, endothelial cells and some fibroblasts. It could act as a scaffold for the attachment of lineage specific glycans, allowing stem cells to bind to lectins expressed by stromal cells or other marrow components. CD34 is highly expressed on hematopoietic progenitors, as well as on endothelial cells. CD34 has been used to measure angiogenesis, which reportedly predicts tumor recurrence.

Description: Cytoplasmic dyneins are large enzyme complexes with a molecular mass of about 1,200 kD. They contain two force-producing heads formed primarily from dynein heavy chains, and stalks linking the heads to a basal domain, which contains a varying number of accessory intermediate chains. The complex is involved in intracellular transport and motility. DYNLL1 is a light chain and exists as part of this complex but also physically interacts with and inhibits the activity of neuronal nitric oxide synthase. Binding of this protein destabilizes the neuronal nitric oxide synthase dimer, a conformation necessary for activity, and it may regulate numerous biologic processes through its effects on nitric oxide synthase activity.Cytoplasmic dyneins are large enzyme complexes with a molecular mass of about 1,200 kD. Alternate transcriptional splice variants have been characterized.
