Les pièces humides sont composées de plastiques (PBT, PUR) et de céramiques d'alumine résistants aux produits chimiques. Sa résistance chimique et sa solidité sont bien meilleures que celles des capteurs Pirani classiques, avec leur filament métallique en spirale plus fragile. La possibilité de connecter simultanément jusqu'à huit capteurs de vide donne davantage de flexibilité pour réaliser des mesures sur site. Le DCP 3000 communique avec les composants externes via le système de bus numérique VACUU BUS®. Il se caractérise par une configuration entièrement automatique, des connexions de prise unifiées et des longueurs de câble allant jusqu'à 30 m. De plus, le DCP 3000 offre des mesures de la pression relative (VSK 3000 comme référence) ainsi qu'une fonction d'enregistrement des données qui peut garder en mémoire jusqu'à 32000 valeurs de données.
