This vacuum pump is designed for use with aqueous samples that are compatible with FreeZone Freeze Dry Systems, CentriVap Centrifugal concentrators and Protector® Controlled Atmosphere glove boxes. It comes with a single phase direct drive motor, totally enclosed and fan cooled. When the motor overheats, the thermal overload device switches off the pump. When the pump cools down, the motor automatically restarts. Isolation valve seals the inlet to prevent oil and air contamination of the system in the event of power failure.

Human Biliverdin reductase A (BLVRA) is belonged to the Gfo/Idh/MocA family and Biliverdin reductase subfamily. BLVRA is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the BLVRA gene. BLVRA plays an important role in reducing the gamma-methene bridge of the open tetrapyrrole, biliverdin IX alpha, to bilirubin with the concomitant oxidation of a NADH or NADPH cofactor. BLVRA acts on biliverdin by reducing its double-bond between the pyrrole rings into a single-bond. It accomplishes this using NADPH + H+ as an electron donor, forming bilirubin and NADP+ as products.

Keratin 18 is a type I cytokeratin. It is, together with its filament partner keratin 8, perhaps the most commonly found products of the intermediate filament gene family. They are expressed in single layer epithelial tissues of the body. Mutations in this gene have been linked to cryptogenic cirrhosis. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene. Keratin 18 is often used together with keratin 8 and keratin 19 to differentiate cells of epithelial origin from hematopoietic cells in tests that enumerate circulating tumor cells in blood. [Wiki].

The Mammalian β-Galactosidase Assay Reagent Kit is a simple and versatile assay to measure β-galactosidase activity in cultured mammalian cells. Cells grown on a plate may be lysed and tested for β-galactosidase activity by adding a single all-in-one lysis-and-assay solution. Alternatively, M-PER™ Mammalian Protein Extraction Reagent may be used to prepare lysate from washed adherent or pelleted cells, and then a portion of the lysate used to assay for β-galactosidase activity. With M-PER Reagent, there is no need to scrape cells or to perform freeze-thaw cycles. The remaining lysates prepared with M-PER™ Reagent may be used for applications such as reporter assays (luciferase, β-galactosidase and chloramphenical acetyltransferase), protein kinase assays (PKA, PKC, and tyrosine kinase), immunoassays (Western blot, ELISA, RIA) and protein purification.

This antibody recognises a protein of 75 kDa, identified as the gamma heavy chain of human immunoglobulins. It does not cross-react with alpha (IgA), mu (IgM), epsilon (IgE), or delta (IgD), heavy chains, T-cells, monocytes, granulocytes, or erythrocytes. The antibody is useful in the identification of leukemias, plasmacytomas, and certain non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. The most common feature of these malignancies is the restricted expression of a single heavy chain class. Demonstration of clonality in lymphoid infiltrates indicates that the infiltrate is clonal and therefore malignant.
