The total protein is measured using the Biuret procedure, with bovine albumin as a standard. Hemagglutination titer is standardized with an in-house control by measurement of agglutination end-point with 10% sheep red blood cells. Warning and caution: This product contains sodium azide. To prevent formation of toxic vapors, do not mix with strongly acidic solutions. To prevent formation of potentially explosive metallic azides in metal plumbing, always wash into drain with copious quantities of water.
