Description:
PSG2 is a secreted protein that in humans is encoded by the PSG2 gene. It is a member of the human pregnancy-specific glycoproteins (PSGs) family. These proteins are synthesised in large amounts by placental trophoblasts and released into the maternal circulation during pregnancy. PSG2 consist of a single N domain, with structural similarity to the immunoglobulin variable domains, followed by a variable number of immunoglobulin constant-like A and/or B domains. It has an arg-gly-asp (RGD) motif, which has been shown to function as an adhesion recognition signal for several integrins, in the N-terminal domain.

MGMT involved in the cellular defense against the biological effects of O6-methylguanine in DNA. Interleukin-4 (IL-4) is a cytokine produced by type 2 helper T cells, the Th2 cells. These cells tends to make a specific set of lymphokines including IL-4, IL-5, IL-6, IL-10, IL-13, IL-3 and GM-CSF and fail to produce IL-2, IFN-gamma, and lymphotoxin (TNF-beta). In addition, mast cells can produce IL-4. IL-4 exerts numerous effects on various hematopoietic cell types. On B cells, IL-4 promotes immunoglobulin class switching to IgE and IgG1 isotypes and upregulates MHC class II and CD23 expression. IL-4 promotes survival, growth, and differentiation of both T and B lymphocytes, mast cells and endothelial cells. In addition, IL-4 inhibits the production of TNF, IL-1, and IL-6 by macrophages.

CD276, also known as B7-H3, is a member of the B7 superfamily with signature IgV and IgG regions in extracellular domains. It is a type I transmembrane protein and shares 20–27% amino acid identity with other B7 family members. B7-H3 is involved in the activation of T lymphocytes, and regulates murine bone formation. It is also reported that B7-H3 may play an important role in muscle-immune interactions, providing further evidence of the active role of muscle cells in local immunoregulatory processes. B7-H3 is expressed on T-cells, natural killer cells, and antigen presenting cells, as well as some non-immune cells, such as osteoblasts, fibroblasts, fibroblast-like synoviocytes and epithelial cells. High expression of B7-H3 in tumour vasculature also correlates with poor survival in patients, suggesting that it may play a role in tumour cell migration.

DnaJ Homolog Subfamily B Member 1 (DNAJB1) is a member of the heat shock protein family. Heat shock proteins (HSPs) are a highly conserved family of stress response proteins. HSPs function primarily as molecular chaperones, facilitating the folding of other cellular proteins, preventing protein aggregation, or targeting improperly folded proteins to specific degradative pathways. DNAJB1 regulates cellular processes by aiding in the folding, transport and assembly. DNAJB1 contains a J-domain which controls interaction with the ATPase domain of DnaK. DNAJB1 interacts with HSP70 and can stimulate its ATPase activity. In addition, DNAJB1 stimulates the association between HSC70 and HIP.
