T-Cell Surface Glycoprotein CD3 epsilon Chain (CD3 epsilon ) is a single-pass type I membrane protein. CD3 epsilon contains 1 Ig-like (immunoglobulin-like) domain and 1 ITAM domain. CD3 epsilon is a polypeptide encoded by the CD3E gene on chromosome 11 in humans. The T cell receptor-CD3 complex (TCR/CD3 complex) is involved in T-cell development and several intracellular signal-transduction pathways. This complex is critical for T-cell development and function, and represents one of the most complex transmembrane receptors. The T cell receptor-CD3 complex is unique in having ten cytoplasmic immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motifs (ITAMs). CRISP2 Antibody: The cysteine-rich secretory proteins (CRISP) family is a group of four proteins that are strongly expressed in the male reproductive tract and have been implicated in having roles in male fertility. CRISP2, also known as TPX1, has been implicated in the adhesion between spermatids and Sertoli cells, and with CRISP1, is thought to be involved in sperm-egg fusion. CRISP2 has been shown to regulate the Ca2+ influx through ryanodine receptors (RYR) and may influence the acrosome reaction or sperm motility. CRISP2 has also been shown to bind to the mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 11 (MAP3K11) and localizes to the developing acrosome, suggesting this CRISP2-MAP3K11 complex may have a role in acrosome development.

The 1D3 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with mouse CD19, a 95 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein, a member of the Ig superfamily and a B cell-lineage differentiation antigen expressed by all the B lymphocyte development stages, except for the terminally differentiated plasma cells. CD19 associates with CD21, CD81 and MHC class II to form a multi-molecular complex that initiates the mature B lymphocyte activation by interaction with the B-cell receptors. CD 19 enhances the B cell proliferation, development and activation, and the maturation of memory B cells. In CD19-deficient mice, the generation and maturation of B lymphocytes in the bone marrow and periphery are affected.
