TFCP2L1 Antibody: The Transcription factor CP2-like protein 1 (TFCP2L1) is related to the ubiquitously expressed CP2 family of transcription factors that are generally transcription factors. TFCP2L1 is expressed in a developmentally regulated fashion during embryogenesis and in the epithelial lining of distal convoluted tubules in embryonic and adult kidneys. Recent studies have shown that TFCP2L1 is part of an Oct4-centered protein interaction network in embryonic stem cells. It is thought to modulate the activity of other CP2 family members in a cell specific manner, and is itself regulated by sumoylation at a single major site.

CD300C is a single-pass type I membrane protein which belongs to the immunoregulatory signaling (IRS) family. CD300C contains one Ig-like V-type domain and is present on the surface of natural killer cells, granulocytes, most myeloid cells, dendritic cells, and a subpopulation of T and B lymphocytes. The CD300C (CMRF-35A) and CD300A (CMRF-35H) molecules are homologous leukocyte surface proteins. CD300a and CD300C play an important role in the cross-regulation of TNF-alpha and IFN-alpha secretion from pDCs. CD300A and CD300C are indistinguishable on the surface of NK cells. The ligand for CD300C is presently unknown.

Mucin-15 is a single-pass type I membrane protein member of the Mucin family. Mucins are a family of high molecular weight, heavily glycosylated proteins (glycoconjugates) produced by epithelial tissues in most metazoans. A key characteristic of Mucins is their ability to form gels. Therefore they are a key component in most gel-like secretions, serving functions from lubrication to cell signalling to forming chemical barriers. Mucin-15 is expressed in many tissues. Mucin-15 is highly glycosylated (N- and O-linked carbohydrates). Mucin-15 may play a role in the cell adhesion to the extracellular matrix.

TGFBR2 is a single-pass type I membrane protein and contains one protein kinase domain. TGFBR2 exsits as a heterodimeric complex with another receptor protein and binds TGF-beta. Signals triggered through the TGF-beta receptor complex prompt various responses by the cell. One such response is to inhibit cell growth and division. Based on this action, the TGF-beta receptor type 2 is sometimes called a tumor suppressor. Defects in TGFBR2 have been associated with Marfan syndrome, Loeys-Deitz aortic aneurysm syndrome, Osler-Weber-Rendu syndrome and the development of various types of tumors.

Poliovirus Receptor (PVR) is a 70 kDa type I transmembrane single-span glycoprotein that belongs to the nectin-like (Necl) family and was originally identified based on its ability to mediate the cell attachment and entry of poliovirus (PV), an etiologic agent of the central nervous system disease poliomyelitis. PVR contains three Ig-like extracellular domains, a transmembrane segment, and a cytoplasmic tail. The normal cellular function of PVR maybe the involvement of intercellular adhension between epithelial cells. Alternate splicing of the PVR mRNA yields four different isoforms ( alpha, beta , gamma , and delta) with identical extracellular domains.

It is synthesized in the liver and secreted into the blood as a single polypeptide chain. Plasma prekallikrein is converted to plasma kallikrein by factor XIIa by the cleavage of an internal Arg-Ile bond. Plasma prekallikrein deficiency causes a prolonged activated partial thromboplastin time in patients.Plasma prekallikrein is a glycoprotein that participates in the surface-dependent activation of blood coagulation, fibrinolysis, kinin generation and inflammation. High Mobility Group Protein B2 (HMGB2) belongs to the non-histone chromosomal high-mobility group protein family. Members of this family are chromatin-associated and widely spread in the nucleus of higher eukaryotic cells. HMGB2 contains 2 HMG box DNA-binding domains. It is associated with chromatin and has the ability to bend DNA, preferentially single-stranded DNA. It is shown that HMGB2 is able to efficiently bend DNA and form DNA circles. In addition, HMGB2 is involved in the final ligation step in DNA end-joining processes of DNA double-strand breaks repair and V(D)J recombination.
