beta -Arrestin-1 (ARRB1) is a cytoplasmic protein that belongs to the arrestin family. ARRB1 is expressed at high levels in peripheral blood leukocytes and the central nervous system. ARRB1 regulates agonist-mediated G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) signaling by mediating both receptor desensitization and resensitization processes. ARRB1 acts as a cofactor in the beta-adrenergic receptor kinase (BARK) mediated desensitization of beta-adrenergic receptors. ARRB1 is believed to play a major role in regulating receptor-mediated immune functions. ARRB1 is involved in Toll-like receptor and IL-1 receptor signaling through the interaction with TRAF6.

Description:
Hemoglobin subunit theta-1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the HBQ1 gene. Theta-globin mRNA is originally found in human fetal erythroid tissue but not in adult erythroid or other nonerythroid tissue. Theta-1 is a member of the human alpha-globin gene cluster that includes five functional genes and two pseudogenes. Research supports a transcriptionally active role for the gene and a functional role for the peptide in specific cells, possibly those of early erythroid tissue. Hemoglobin has a quaternary structure characteristically composed of many multi-subunit globular proteins. Most of the amino acids in hemoglobin form alpha helices, connected by short non-helical segments. Hydrogen bonds stabilize the helical sections inside this protein, causing attractions within the molecule, folding each polypeptide chain into a specific shape. Hemoglobin's quaternary structure comes from its four subunits in roughly a tetrahedral arrangement.

Mouse Programmed cell death 1 ligand 1(Cd274,PD-L1), is a member of the growing B7 family of immune proteins.It involved in the costimulatory signal essential for T-cell proliferation and IFNG production in a PDCD1-independent manner. Interaction with PDCD1 inhibits T-cell proliferation by blocking cell cycle progression and cytokine production.B7-H1 has been identified as one of two ligands for programmed death1 (PD1), a member of the CD28 family of immunoreceptors. B7-H1 is constitutively expressed in several organs such as heart, skeletal muscle B7-H1 expression is upregulated in a small fraction of activated T and B cells and a much larger fraction of activated monocytes. The costimulatory function of B7-H1 is critical for enhancing maturation and differentiation of T-cells in lymphoid organs.B7-H1 expression is also induced in dendritic cells and keratinocytes after IFN gamma stimulation. Interaction of B7-H1 with PD1 results in inhibition of TCR-mediated proliferation and cytokine production. The B7-H1:PD1 pathway is involved in the negative regulation of some immune responses and may play an important role in the regulation of peripheral tolerance.

Poliovirus receptor-related protein 1 (PVRL1) is also known as Herpes virus entry mediator C (HveC), Herpesvirus Ig-like receptor (HIgR), Nectin-1, CD antigen CD111, PVRL1 / Nectin-1 / CD111 belongs to the nectin family. PVRL1 / Nectin-1 is a membrane protein with three extracellular immunoglobulin domains, a single transmembrane helix and a cytoplasmic tail. The protein can mediate Ca2+-independent cellular adhesion further characterizing it as IgSF cell adhesion molecule (IgSF CAM). PVRL1 is adhesion molecule found in a wide range of tissues. PVRL1 / Nectin-1 promotes cell-cell contacts by forming homophilic or heterophilic trans-dimers. Heterophilic interactions have been detected between PVRL1/nectin-1 and PVRL3/nectin-3 and between PVRL1/nectin-1 and PVRL4/nectin-4.

TIP60 is the catalytic subunit of the NuA4 histone acetyltransferase complex which is involved in transcriptional activation of selected genes principally by acetylation of nucleosomal histones H4 and H2A. This modification may both alter nucleosome-DNA interactions and promote interaction of the modified histones with other proteins which positively regulate transcription. Human Vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 1(VEGFR-1, FLT-1) is a member of the the class III subfamily of receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs) and Tyr protein kinase family and CSF-1/PDGF receptor subfamily. VEGFR-1 is widely expressed in human tissues including normal lung, placenta, liver, kidney, heart and brain tissues. It is specifically expressed in most of the vascular endothelial cellsand peripheral blood monocytes. VEGFR-1 contains seven Ig-like C2-type domains and one protein kinase domain. VEGFR-1is an essential receptor tyrosine kinase and plays an important role in theregulation of VEGF family-mediated vasculogenesis, angiogenesis, and lymphangiogenesis. It is also mediators of neurotrophic activity and regulators of hematopoietic development. VEGFR-1 is a receptor for VEGF, VEGFB and PGF. It has a tyrosine-protein kinase activity. Tyrosine-protein kinase that acts as a cell-surface receptor for VEGFA, VEGFB and PGF.It may play an essential role as a negative regulator of embryonic angiogenesis by inhibiting excessive proliferation of endothelial cells and promote endothelial cell proliferation, survival and angiogenesis in adulthood. Its function in promoting cell proliferation seems to be cell-type specific. VEGFR-1 can also promote PGF-mediated proliferation of endothelial cells, proliferation of some types of cancer cells, but does not promote proliferation of normal fibroblasts (in vitro).
