NKG2D Ligand 2 (N2DL2) is a member of a family of cell-surface proteins. N2DL2 function as ligands for human cytomegalovirus glycoprotein UL16. N2DL2 is anchored to the membrane via a GPI-linkage. Collagen alpha-1(III) chain（Col3a1） is a secreted protein and belongs to the fibrillar collagen family.It contains 1 fibrillar collagen NC1 domain and 1 VWFC domain. Collagen alpha-1(III) chain is a fibrillar collagen that is found in extensible connective tissues such as skin, lung, and the vascular system, frequently in association with type I collagen. The COL3A1 gene produces the components of type III collagen, called pro-alpha1(III) chains. Three copies of this chain combine to make a molecule of type III procollagen. These triple-stranded, rope-like procollagen molecules must be processed by enzymes outside the cell to remove extra protein segments from their ends. Once these molecules are processed, the collagen molecules arrange themselves into long, thin fibrils. Within these fibrils, the individual collagen molecules are cross-linked to one another. These cross-links result in the formation of very strong mature type III collagen fibrils, which are found in the spaces around cells.

Small Ubiquitin-Related Modifier 2 (SUMO2) is an Ubiquitin-like protein that belongs to the ubiquitin family with SUMO subfamily. It is a family of small, related proteins that can be enzymatically attached to a target protein by a post-translational modification process termed sumoylation. SUMO2 can be covalently attached to proteins as a monomer or as a lysine-linked polymer. Covalent attachment via an isopeptidebond to its substrates requires prior activation by the E1 complex SAE1-SAE2 and linkage to the E2 enzyme UBE2I, and can be promoted by an E3 ligase such as PIAS1-4, RANBP2 or CBX4. This post-translational modification on lysine residues of proteins plays a crucial role in a number of cellular processes such as nuclear transport, DNA replication and repair, mitosis and signal transduction. Retinol binding protein 4 (RBP4; RBP) is a 21kDa secreted protein, a member of the lipocalin family and is known as the primary transporter of retinol (vitamin A) to tissues. A recent report revealed RBP4 as an adipokine linking glucose transporter 4 (GLUT4) suppression in adipose tissue to insulin. Activin receptor type-1, also known as Activin receptor type I, Activin receptor-like kinase 2, Serine/threonine-protein kinase receptor R1, TGF-B superfamily receptor type I, ACVRLK2 and ACVR1, is a single-pass type I membrane protein. ACVR1 is expressed in normal parenchymal cells, endothelial cells, fibroblasts and tumor-derived epithelial cells. ACVR1 belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. Activins signal through a heteromeric complex of receptor serine kinases which include at least two type I (I and IB) and two type II (II and IIB) receptors. These receptors are all transmembrane proteins, composed of a ligand-binding extracellular domain with cysteine-rich region, a transmembrane domain, and a cytoplasmic domain with predicted serine/threonine specificity. Type I receptors are essential for signaling; and type II receptors are required for binding ligands and for expression of type I receptors. Type I and II receptors form a stable complex after ligand binding, resulting in phosphorylation of type I receptors by type II receptors. ACVR1 signals a particular transcriptional response in concert with activin type II receptors.

Neuronal acetylcholine receptor subunit beta-3(CHRNB3) is a cell membrane protein and belongs to the ligand-gated ion channel (TC 1.A.9) family. CHRNB3 seems to be composed of two different type of subunits: alpha and beta. The CHRNB3 are (hetero) pentamers composed of homologous subunits. The subunits that make up the muscle and neuronal forms of CHRNB3 are encoded by separate genes and have different primary structure. There are several subtypes of neuronal CHRNB3 that vary based on which homologous subunits are arranged around the central channel. They are classified as alpha-subunits if like muscle alpha-1, they have a pair of adjacent cysteines as part of the presumed acetylcholine binding site. Subunits lacking these cysteine residues are classified as beta-subunits.
